I'm trying to pull things together and get on the road this morning. Like Lady M on Sunday a.m., I need some accountability and self-talk!

-fold/put away laundry in dryer
-take out garbage
-kitchen counters
-s2s
-water plants all around

Good Morning!

I would rather have an adventure anytime rather than an inconvenience. My Daddy told me to "have some fun" so many times that it is burned into my memory. Adventure = fun.

Yesterday at LO appt with counselor, she gave me a phase to ask LO as many times as necessary to burn it into LO memory......"Who are you in charge of?" LO is trying to take care of everyone (especially DGD3) to the point that it is causing him to get into trouble. Relax child. Enjoy your childhood.

LO had a long (3+ hours) of Karate belt testing last night and was so exhausted by the end that he could barely raise his arms or walk. I thought he might have a tough time getting up this morning, but he bounced right back and woke up with no problems.

Next up - Prepare & served Breakfast (egg in a nest)

It's so nice to see you here a little more often, LadyM! Miss you when you're gone for any time.

Dh went back to work today on a 'light' schedule.

I was awake from 3-6 or so. But after 7 I let me snooze a bit. Didn't get up for good till 9:30. I'm just having breakfast now.

I was trying to decide whether to get a new printer now or wait. I'll take dh's advice & wait until November. I may take some of the recipes I wanted to scan, up to church and try scanning them to a flash drive and putting them on my computer from that.

DD will be home shortly to change her clothes for a funeral for her MIL's Fiance'. She (MIL) has actually been taking care of him for a number of years. DD took a half day. Dsonil is meeting them after the graveside service. It was going to be difficult for him to leave work with all the new job entails. His Mom was preferring that actually. He's been there for her through this whole process.

Need to make a W mart run -perhaps after dd leaves.

Trying to decide a good time for Disney -hate to go when it's 90*! 8-)

Alrighty! Taking a much needed break. I have taken 4176 steps and haven't exercised or gone anywhere (other than to drop off LO at school). The steps seem to rack up fast while just doing routine cards.

DMom has called 3 times this morning to visit/tell me something. I carried the phone around with me while continuing to do my chores. DMIL dropped by to chat so that needed a sit down with eye-to-eye contact.

Kitchen has been restored from Sunday's group meal. Silverware has been put back into storage containers.

Pool has been swept, chemicals checked and shock added.

Furkid care has been done. If LO doesn't take more interest in his rabbit, I think the rabbit will be going to someone else s home. However I'm giving LO some grace because his schedule has been super busy with ball season. He has a ball game tonight that starts at 5:45 which means he will have almost no free time between school & game to do anything.

Next up - mow the yard. Forecast shows that we won't see the sun until next Monday. This is as dry as the ground is going to get during the next 7 days. Hopefully I can keep the mower wheels on TOP of the grass instead of burying them in the mud. What a wonderful drought breaking *PROBLEM* to have!

Good morning everyone! Last night, I ran some errands and spent way too much time catching up on email. There was no church webwork to do, but I had to type up the minutes and notes for the animal org and send them out. I also had to make a correction to last month's minutes and notes and get that out as well. Scrabble called me, but I ignored it in favor of getting to bed. It was midnight, but it would have been MUCH later if I had played Scrabble!

Tonight, I will have DD13. We will be eating in, maybe spaghetti. I have got to do a better job of planning meals with her now that I cannot go out as much. Last meal was good, I just need to get a plan. After that, I will check email to see if the Wednesday menu is available for posting to the church website. I should glue the kitchen chair before I sit in it again and end up on the floor. More cleanup of camping stuff from the campout that wasn't. Not sure if there is a LOL in my immediate future.

I just finished a payroll task and will upload the results.

I need to remember that and just plain 'putter' MORE! I've done precious little the last 2 or 3 days it seems. The days until I leave are dwindling down pretty fast. Leave in 23 or 24 days. Depends on if I go spend the night of the 4th of June with friends in Ocala. That would put me a couple of hours up the road. DD doesn't plan to leave until she is through school on the 5th. That could be anywhere from 11 - 2 o'clock. We're tossing around trying to make it to Dunn, NC. Would be easy for me if I leave from Ocala. She plans to go I-4 to Jacksonville and will probably spend an hour less in FL than I would if I were to leave from here. I go up 471 to 301 and up to A-1A and across to 95. Just keeps me off I-4 and less traffic (at least more manageable).

Editing: Oh, DUH! I can stay right here and use dd's printer/scanner to scan some recipes onto a flash drive. Just need her to show me how. My job this afternoon is to find a 'dedicated' flash drive for recipes. Have quite a few I'd like on my computer and nix carrying any back and forth. No need to go try to use the one at church. I'll have her show me how tonight or tomorrow. I don't expect them home any too early today.

Trying to decide the best time to make my W mart run. Hate to go when it's so busy. I'm trying hard not to buy any more than we really need before we leave. I would like to make spaghetti before we go however. I don't need to buy much for that -just sauce, tomato sauce & paste and perhaps hamburg. I have the spaghetti and puree and spices. Haven't made it in a long time. Last time was when gd16's guardian and 'sisters' came for dinner some months ago. I may even buy a spaghetti squash to use with some of the sauce. Of course I like that with just butter or butter & cheese.

We're headed out to the nursing home for music. Much more relaxing day for me since dgs is still out of town visiting his other grandparents.

Very difficult to follow any sort of routine when one is out of one's house for most of the day.
Tomorrow is another day.

No exciting adventures for me today here in SunnyLand. Just wanted to say hello....

From yesterday....No we did not get any rain from those storms last evening, Dee. It hovered over the bay for quite a while, then moved more northeast. We do need rain though, the grass is getting brown and crunchy! It is good to hear your dh is mending well.

....Harriet, hope your dsil is better from his tummy upset. Ikwym about favorite nightgowns, I have a couple of them too. Can you take the sleeves out, or do your gowns have to have sleeves, like I do?

Twins', hope you and dd have a nice time at the conference.

I finished up in the kitchen working on the lower cabinets and 7 drawers this morning. Now I will have to pick another project, I have several in mind, but one in particular as it will help two different areas.

Had a nice conversation with dsis earlier this afternoon! 8-)

Tomorrow will be desk day for this week.

Who put those bugs in my code?

I will have to do minor repair on my animal org minutes and notes. I goofed the dates. It will take more time to email them than to fix them.

I have added to my list to change my summer hotel reservations. I decided that we will stay somewhere along the way. It is only an 8 hour drive to Denver, but it will not save me any money to drive straight. In the past, when I have made trips of 8 hours and up, I had places to stay with relatives or friends, so it made sense. Now it does not, and I can probably find something fun on the way.

Where is everybody?
