CUOP while waiting for LO to get out of school. I have an app on phone that counts down the minutes until he is released (3:08pm). Starting at 2:4pm it announces the # of minutes left so there is no way I can get sidetracked and forget to pick him up. I thought it might drive me crazy but am finding it relaxes me instead.
Yard mowing was uneventful. I only mowed about 80% of the yard leaving the wetter areas alone.
Lunch was leftovers again from Sunday. I'm tired of eating leftovers and look forward to returning to my meal planning system.

Phone calls to denomination office and pharmacy 2 are done. I do have banking either today or tomorrow - can be flexible about that. But I also need to pick up some cash to pay a tree-removal company for a dead tree that seems threatening to a neighbor. I really don't think it would do any harm if it fell, but there is a small likelihood, so we have decided better safe than sorry.
Well, that was earlier - shows how my days have been gong. I can't even follow through to posting.
The only errand I completed was the vitamin store run. I tried to go by the phone store place because they had emailed that dd was going over her limit of usage and frankly I was thinking I might change phones myself. But they were backed up. So I called at home and decided to put up with the $10 one-time fee and forget anything else for today.
The hamburger meat I bought yesterday (though in date) was shelved wrong at the store, and I bought 30 percent fat instead of 10 percent fat. Also when HRH took it out of the plastic bag just now it was obviously turning brown. So huge upset over that as he told dd she must have picked it out but she had nothing to do with it. And he starts the usual tirade about how we can all die when we try to eat old or non-refrigerated meat, and this pack probably rode around in someone's cart a long time until they put it back wrong. So we always need to triple check all the writing on the products, blah, blah, blah. Sigh.
I ended up telling him he needs to do the grocery shopping himself, the responsibility for saving our lives is just too much for me.
Sunny, I can almost see through the fabric, so I doubt if there's much recourse!

I've noticed no post from Kathryn today. Wonder if she had tests after her Dr's appointment or if she was able to continue on with her plan for the day. Saying a little prayer for her, regardless.

Re: Adventure Tuesday
We had a storm roll through a while ago; gave us some much needed rain.
Harmony says hello to everyone and she hasn't been posting because her pc is in the shop. I talked with her for a little while this afternoon and later some texting. She had a severe storm during our texts, losing electric power for a short time and some street flooding. Storms are over and all is well!

Re: Adventure Tuesday
Was watching that storm, Sunny, and was thinking about you. Completely missed us again. It was a duplicate copy of last night by the looks of it.
Watched DWTS, Idol and the end of the Tampa Lightening/Montreal Canadiens game. Good hard played game. DD's stick boy when she was trainer for our Junior Team up home was the captain for Montreal until he went to Buffalo this year.
Talked very briefly to dh between DWTS and Idol. It was his first day of work. Said he was tired and his knee was a little sore. Just praying he doesn't overdo it.

Yeah, dd1 removed dh's drain tube awhile ago. I couldn't watch so left the room. When I went back, he looked like he was going to faint. That tube was 6" long and went in behind his ear and then ran down and curved around his cheek/jaw area. There is a hole the size of a pencil there now. Again I couldn't look, I took dd1's word for it. It was getting painful for him and he had to eat soft food. Today he was grumpy and snippy. I asked dd1's opinion on me going to KC with him. Since he is no longer taking the powerful pain killers and the tube is out, both her and dh think he could make the trip by himself. I feel guilty but I have been too tired to get ready for company. I will spend the next 3 days cleaning, etc.
Dd2 called a cleaning company today and they came out today to look at the house. They will clean Friday with a team of 4. They will do 2 of the bathrooms, all living areas and the kitchen, dining room. That way she can concentrate on the food Thursday night. With dh out of town, I plan to go spend some time with her for her birthday. I figure I can do dishes, etc. I was going to fix a meal but decided to just bake half of a chocolate sheet cake.
Guess I better get to bed.
