Re: Friday Finish
Had t-storm roll through here a loud clap of thunder and skies open up letting loose with buckets of rain. We needed that moisture but I did not get the mowing in front done however. Hens are out from under the run again now hunting for worms. H is home pizza is on the way.

Re: Friday Finish
Decided to wash linens at my parents' house today. Dd35 and family arrived and everything was fresh. General spif of baths and kitchen there. Mopped. HRH got the mowing done today. He and I went on a grocery shopping trip together, too. We stopped at the home improvement store for the lightbulbs he wanted. Almost bought a chair - had our hands on it - and realized we hadn't come in the truck but the car, LOL.
LadyM, am I supposed to know about dh's aneurysm? Somehow that was not on my radar. HRH had one long years ago, before we married, and had to have two CT scans. Amused to hear of LO's behavior description. Happy for your dmother that there was no pain.
Nancy, I hope you don't have any more night time visits from that prowling animal. Bet it was a dog.
Btw, dermatologist called and says HRH's skin biopsy on his forearm was "pre-cancerous" and he could wait and watch it or freeze it off. So he wants to have them freeze it next week. He had one done a few years ago and within a few months couldn't even see where it had been. He was very impressed.
Tomorrow dd and I will go enjoy a nearby garden nursery because she wants to buy me a hanging basket. A play written by my dmother's cousin will be performed outdoors tomorrow and we might go see that - not sure.

Re: Friday Finish
Long evening. Had to be at the concert venue (the church where the Presbytery offices are, so I've been there lots of times and know it well) for 6 but concert didn't start until 7:30. Set up of the food took 30 minutes and then I directed the visiting choir members (after finding a spot for them to leave their things and warm up.)
Sat with our neighbour and was joined by members from that congregation who I know through Presbytery work. I'm starting to know a lot of people in this city.
There are lots of leftovers (except for rice krispy squares) so I don't have to bake any more for Sunday.
I thought hard about the sermon but don't have a solid plan yet. The service is almost written, still need one more hymn. I might just break down and print off the words to the hymns I want.
Ds is sick. And apparently in Toronto. I'm confused, I thought he had a race here tomorrow. (One of our mutual FB friends ran into him at a gas stop along the highway - otherwise I'd know nothing!)

The animal did not show up here last night, never thought I would say this but l am looking forward to fireworks they will hopefully scare off wild animals. I have not seen as many deer on my walks. Chickens are tucked in for the night.
One load of laundry is done.
