Up and at it.

Have remade bed.

Weighed myself. Very bad news.

Wrist started bothering me so I have the splint on. I did wake up 2 days ago with my arm asleep so hope that's where I did it. Typing is hard and hurts so I won't be online much today.

I am sooooo glad this is not such a busy week. May was a killer month.

Saturday night dh, ds and I did the night run/walk - we all walked 3.2 miles beginning at 10 p.m.! Ds and I came on home afterwards and dh went to the "after party" for awhile. Wasn't too bad, I hadn't walked that far in a very long time (also hadn't gotten to 10K steps in awhile) but it was a fun time talking with friends while walking.

Yesterday centered around a funeral. I got something of a late start to the day but had some downtime before we went to the funeral, which started at 2 p.m. We went to cemetery afterward and then to the meal of consolation which was held at the local golf and country club. Ended up back home around 6 p.m. and I think I was just "peopled out" and spent the evening reading in a prone position on the couch. Actually, I may have napped just a little too, but we went on to bed at 10:30 and I slept well.

So we are starting June, when I vowed to "get my act together" and start exercising and eating well. I don't have a plan in place other than that.

This week need to/want to:
-implement eating well and exercising
---Use MFP to track eating
---start with Fitbit and get # of daily steps up
-work toward getting house ready for house guest, Aunt P next week
---this involves cleaning out dd's room
---power wash porches
---have rugs cleaned downstairs (rug under kitchen table may need to go, I'm afraid dog throw up and "other" stains won't come out and it's an IKEA rug, and is actually too small for the space anyway
-stamping time
-genealogy time
-what else?

Had an awful weekend. Even with the medication I am still l spinny. I can't get anything done. It seems everything I need to do requires bending over. Cat litter box is tops on the list of what I need to do here today.

Funny things happen when there is a bad fire in your apartment building. Last October there was a fire that gutted one apartment . Since then the fire department has decide that there should be a heat sensor in each unit with a bell as well. They have been installing these for the past 5 weeks. One floor per week. We had ours installed this morning. UGLY! A long silver pipe running from the door all the way down the main hall to just outside of kitchen door. Then it goes across the ceiling and down the middle of a wall to the exact center of that wall. What an eyesore. I know it will save lives if there is ever another fire, but it's hideous. I am so glad we are moving out before September.

I haven't driven myself anywhere since last Tuesday and I need to do some very important banking today. I have 2 lawyers to pay their retainers. My brother's lawyer responded to my request to purchase a house last Friday and it was so insulting that we can't do anything but turn it down completely.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Yeah, I agree!

I'm just worn out from this weekend. Can't seem to get going. And I feel headachey. I did a little bookkeeping chore I'd started last evening. That's about it so far today. I see blessed is working along today...maybe I'll get motivated from that.

Cathy, I hope you feel better soon, must be awful to go through that.

Top of my li&t today has to be getting groceries. Meant to go yesterday a.m. but didn't get rolling in time, and dh was concerned about getting to the temple early for the funeral.

So without further ado:
-clear kitchen counters and empty dishwasher
-wash up, get dressed, etc.
-breakfast
-refill meds container/take meds
-start a lol

Harmony, trying for some motivation myself. I feel like I always start slowly on Mondays - I know I have a long day because dh is out bowling for the evening.

I'm sleepy this morning. Was awake from 4-6:45 or so. Fell asleep and dh texted me about 7:10 that he'd once again lost the address and phone numbers for T ime W arner and F rontier. He has to take the modem back to TW and call to make arrangements for F rontier to install a new internet service. This makes the 3rd or 4th time I've texted him the addy & phone numbers. Sure he has it if he looked back through his text messages. At any rate he was in the car, on the way to TW and was still trying to reach the guy at F rontier. Hopefully internet will be in place by the time I get home. (Still planning on leaving on Friday).

Started placing some bags & bins in the living room in preparation for packing the car on Thursday. I have to get my walker (only use it at Disney -what a difference it makes there) out of the car. DBIL wants to put some things in the car for me to take north to dh. Hoping it's not a lot. :? I've packed one small suitcase and am putting other things in cloth grocery bags with the hope they'll be easier to pack/unpack and easier to put in the car. Need to start a listing of what I'm leaving behind so I don't start searching up home.

Dsonil is still here (he starts his night shift at 7 tonight) and he's dozing. Only thing wrong with that is he's parked behind me and I can't get out. Hate to wake him to move his car. Usually he's not parked there but dd had him park behind me Saturday night so we could drive her car to church in order to pick up the disastrous bottles of chlorine. Been there ever since. He said he was going to town soon about an hour ago. I will not worry about how this is all going to go this fall when we return. I can get through the next 3 days.

Good morning all! I have already completed one task while on the train - Bible study reading for next week is done. Must do today: get train ticket for the month of June, get graduation gift. Tonight's must dos: hardware store, grocery store, pay two bills, update Quicken, and put plates/paperwork in car.

This weekend was fairly productive: Elizabeth's Own HVAC worked on the swamp cooler. I had a leak in a copper pipe and now I know how to splice copper tubing. To complete the job, I need to get a belt, bearing oil, and something to ream out the 'spider'. Guess what I will be doing Tuesday? I finished scanning and mailed the trust documents, repaired the garage door (finally), did some church webwork, and extreme cleaned another catbox. One more, very small one, to go. Also, a small bit of LOL put away and house cleaning. While I did some of these things, DD13 was ice skating with the church youth group. Both the x and I had been trying to get her to go with us, but she was always too scared (badly sprained wrist at a roller skating rink). The father of one of the other kids, who had played hockey, taught her and her friend. I will thank him next time I see him. My skating ability is at the 'get by' level.

Tomorrow, I must remember NOT to go to work when I get up! I have a mammogram scheduled and should sleep late and go to that, THEN take the later train (or drive if I don't make that). On the way to the station this morning, I found out a favorite band is coming the night before DD and I leave for our summer vacation. I'm thinking ... get everything packed before hand and loaded into the car. Driving six hours after a concert may not be the most sensible thing, but it only runs from 8 to 930, so it shouldn't be TOO bad.
