Oh, dear. ((Dee))) That sounds painful.

I'm back from my jog and I feel so good! I was finished around 9 pm and it was still perfectly light then. There were a few other joggers, bikers, and walkers, but not too m any. It was not too hot - and there was no rain! I went a little faster this time and felt good during most of it, so it feels like I'm getting stronger. I've been working on staying hydrated, and I think that helps my stamina a lot. I did have to take 2 small detours to avoid running between various adult geese and their goslings. I have no desire to tango with Canadian geese. Nope. Then, I took a couple other detours around goose families that were together - but the parents were obviously unhappy about my presence on the pathway. . .

I forgot to say earlier that I have now found most of my brands at the K roger where I'm now shopping. There is a "Live naturally" section, and I found several things there today. I don't actually eat (or live) particularly naturally, so I found that kind of funny. . . .LOL! They don't carry Wallaby yogurt, though, but I've been told that WF carries it. I got an alternate brand for now. Also, I can't find S uzie's rice crackers with spelt and flax seed, so I've ordered those online. I honestly really like those crackers. No one else in my family does.

No word yet from dfriend about tomorrow morning.

Next, I'm going to get some ice cream (I have plenty of points and the ice cream is low fat) and veg for a while. I'll either read a book or work on typing up schedule/notes for dfriend.

(((Dee))) I could have cried when I read of your injuries. No matter how careful we are, accidents still happen. I have had several mishaps, these last few years and it always upsets me when it happens. Last year about this time is when I fell sideways off of a straight back chair without arms at my computer and hurt my shoulder. Now I have a chair with arms. I went to bed at 10 last night, woke up at 2 and never went back to sleep. This afternoon I fell asleep at the computer and my head was resting on the keyboard. You could see the imprint of keys. Dd2 can't believe that anyone can fall asleep at a computer.

Twins, is your dd the second born? The reason I ask is birth order tendencies. My dd2 flies by the seat of her pants and it still drives me crazy to watch it. I have decided that she isn't happy unless there is chaos around her. With 5 kids, you can imagine the chaos that can happen.

Harriet, is HRH having a hard time with dd16 gone?

Guess I better pay attention to "Texas Rising", since this is the finale.

Gentle Hugs for (((Dee)))

I'd cry too. Like Lilac, I teared up at the thought of you falling. I could picture the fall from your description and then felt sorry you ended up at the potluck anyway.

I've done nothing all evening. I think I'm worried about my test tomorrow. Will post tomorrow afternoon to let you know how it goes (I have to leave here by 7:45 and the test runs until noon.) My physio therapist raised her eyes when I said I was having a stress test because she thought it would be the treadmill kind. Apparently they can do other ways so my knees will be preserved.

Found this in a listing of worst lines for Get Well Cards, Dee :
"In this card are lots of wishes
you soon are well, back to doing dishes"

Dee, if you can't sleep well and are up, just come post here in the night. The way the rest of us sleep, you're likely to get an answer! :) Or at least be amused at who happens by next.

Speaking of managing in the night, news from dd is a little sad. Her roommate E has anxiety attacks. She began having a bad time today. Her parents came to pick her up and even though E held out some hope to dd that she might try to come back, they packed up completely and dd doesn't think it's going to happen. She told dd multiple times that it had nothing to do with her, and in fact gave her her phone number to keep in touch. But dd is disappointed. Now she is the only student without a roommate.

Today turned into a recuperation day for me, I think. I don't feel that I got a lot done. Tomorrow I have several errands so I'm sure that will make me feel I'm back in the swing.

Harmony, do you still have your boys with you or did they leave today?

Hi again everyone! I had a good birthday dinner, with no x and other woman. I have been invited to a really fun sounding solstice party on Saturday. We are all supposed to dress accordingly. Not sure exactly what to wear, but I have already put together an outfit and sent pictures to my friend to see if it is ok.

Other than that, I bought, but have not installed, the new radio, sent the animal org minutes to someone inadvertently taken off the distribution list, and took pictures of a crochet finished object. I have posted the latter to Ravelry and Arts Crafts & Needlework. You can check it out here: http://bb.shesorganized.org/viewtopic.p ... 41#p124641

Next up: cat care, food and clothes for tomorrow, hang stuff from washer and dry other stuff, move stuff from fridge to freezer. After which I am going to BED!

Happy Birthday Elizabeth. I'm glad you had a good day, and outing.

(((Dee))) falling trying to protect a dish of something is never a good plan. Its how I broke my shoulder. Please get checked out.

Harriet - there might be a little more on that subject in the talk of Thursday 11 June. These are really smart people, translating from Tibetan on the run too. For those who needed it there was translations to other languages as well, also signing for the deaf. I was thinking how all those folk really needed to know the subject to make a good translation.

Tuesday
yoga, appointment, billpay at bank, found the toothpaste at 2nd pharmacy after assistant at the first told me who stocked it. health food store home. late lunch. walk 3k.

Praying for you and your families, for people you care about, and those who are out of touch. For all suffering with the weather over there, or suffering from other calamities.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
