Me too, Harriet! Sounds like she is going to have a fantastic time!

Y'all, this is how bad my anxiety is... I am actually NERVOUS about calling daunt tomorrow to see if dgs and I can hang out at her house while dcousin washes the car. I KNOW if she is home she will be happy to see us... but it just makes me nervous for some reason. I'm not going to call her till tomorrow b/c I don't want her to change her plans for us. I think I can entertain dgs while dcousin washes the car if I have to.

*sheesh * I'm also nervous b/c I am taking a couple of lamps to her, from dmil's house, which she said she wanted to buy... and I just hate making her pay anything for them/can't set a price exactly/don't want to overcharge, but dh feels we shouldn't just GIVE them away; they are pretty nice lamps. She bought a couple already and three pieces of furniture (side tables w/marble tops)... so that makes me uneasy. Also fear I did overcharge other daunt for a couple of smaller lamps she bought back at that same time. Daunt has babysat for dgs before and did not charge us anything, and other dcousin does photos for ds/ddil for free... But of course, I am going to pay dcousin for washing the car, and I did make cookies for the graduation party for free... so maybe it all balances out. I don't know... but it still makes me uneasy.

And of course, even though things seem very pleasant and calm between all concerned, I am STILL somewhat uneasy about all this baby name snafu... when will I EVER learn to HUSH???
Tomorrow is another day.

I really enjoy hearing all about our Village children and what they are doing and studying!

It was definitely a Washing-up Wednesday here at dsons. The kitchen was first this morning, with it seemed like every pot, pan and dish needing washed. There were no cups or silverware left to use either! Dh started then I helped rinse and load the dishwasher. I ate my cereal with a fork.

After I rested a while and had my coffee I started on the floors, which are hardwood (bamboo) with two area rugs - one in family room and the other in the living room. I was sweeping with the hand broom when dgd17-H got the vacuum out and swept the two carpets. I had dgs13-C take out the kitchen trash and they both helped pick up their shoes and other stuff to put away. The house looks pretty good now! Yesterday dgs-C and I swept the leaves off the back deck and set the chairs up neatly again. I told him the front porch is next!

Dh went with ds-T and dgs-C went to dgson's Scout meeting. Ddil-A, dgd-H and I went shopping for a few groceries and a stop at M ichael's this evening. Ddil is ready to start another crochet project and wants to make dgd an afghan, so dgd picked out a pattern and her colors, they just need to get the yarn. We dropped dgd-H off at her dbfriend's house on the way home. Tomorrow afternoon we are going up to D.C. for a concert where ds-T works.

Dee, I'm so glad you feel well enough to post; take it easy till you are healed! ((Hugs)).
Hello Blessed. Wow, lightning so close to dd younger so scary; I'm glad she's ok!
RRose, poor Willis...that must have been uncomfortable for him.
Sadie, Happy Birthday to dson-J. I'm sorry he was affected by the changes made to the dept mgrs. I wish him luck with his job.
Harriet, it sure sounds like dd is enjoying her time in the city (sorry she lost her roommate, though.) I know she will do well at her internship.
Harmony, oh my --- sorry for dd's sunburn, that will take some time to heal.

Well, I think there's more I wanted to say, but can't think at the moment. Dgs-C has fallen asleep on our bed and he needs to go upstairs to his own room. He has a dentist appointment early tomorrow morning. Dh will be ready to come to bed soon....
