Hello all! I LOVE the title today. It made me smile. :)

I put the pork loin in the crockpot with root beer. KAZAM BOOM Take that, dinner for 7 people tonight.
I replied to an email from dfriend asking about their upcoming visit with us in 2 weeks. BIFF BOP Take that, upcoming hosting plans.
I have also done s2s and self-care, unloaded and reloaded the dw, had a QT, and updated the laundry. SLAM POW to the morning routine.

Next:
- make bed
- update laundry
- get some lunch
- work on class prep

I'm going in to work early to learn how to show an online video to my class.

I like the title too.

I have a very important and dreaded phone call to make in a few minutes.

Then I must leave for work at the branch location (not my favorite....)

So, I will be beating up on Thursday too. I will conquer!!!! :D

I like that download Elizabeth linked - 30-day declutter challenge. Maybe we could work our way through that in the July decutter monthly thread, if it works out for anyone? And take the 31st off to pat ourselves on the back. I'm up for it.

Although I generally do my best staying a week ahead of our Focus schedule with declutters, because I always know what's up next and why, change is good for sidetrackable folk. :) I like those specifics on that page, such as one day on the fridge alone, one day just for a vehicle. Sometimes it's good to zero in with a choice of emphasis that has nothing to do with you - somebody else's idea for a change. I think that's why Chore Bingo can be a blessing for a sidetrackable person. I see some instant mismatches on the page for me - only one of the days for paperwork, for instance, but that would still be moving ahead.

More done:
- lol #1 and 2 clean, dry, folded and put away
- lol #3 is sitting in the dryer waiting for me. It will wait until this evening.
- lunch
- class prepped
- made up attendance sheets
- updated online grades and attendance
- s/s main bathroom
- prepped potatoes for the oven; dd17 will put them in at the right time at the right temp. (She's our reliable one. I will ask her rather than dd19. . .Besides, dd19 is jetlagging and may be unconscious all afternoon.)
- teeth care

Next:
- change clothes
- gather items
- wash an apple to eat in the car. I'm hungry but don't want to eat more points before this evening. The scale said I was below 150 this morning. :) That's not fully dressed, though. . .
- go to work; still need to check some homework assignments and review directions for the video

After payroll:
- grate cheese
- roast brussel sprouts
- put out hotspot
- set table
- make up pulled pork
- toast buns

I haven't looked at the link, but I'd be willing to try the 30 days in July. Can't start until the 3rd though, b/c I'll be out of town till then.

Today so far, Thursday hasn't had to take much from me.
I walked a mile and talked to a dfriend on the phone.
That's it. But I am REALLY patting myself on the back for getting out and walking before I eat breakfast or anything. Sat. and Sun. I'll be off schedule, and Tu-Th next week, but I am feeling better already.
* As long as I don't think about that girl in the mirror at Walmart! *
Tomorrow is another day.

Sometimes it is just easier to quote Lucylee instead of rewriting stuff myself!

Ditto what she said except I can start on the 1st.

BTW: I'm still chuckling over RunKitty's comment to Lucylee last night! It was a wonderful way to start off my day - laughing out loud as I cuop!

Back from lunch with dh. Didn't leave here until long after 1:30 so got home after 3. A mile long walk in each direction. I pushed myself as hard as I could - it doesn't hurt to do so, but the legs just don't seem to want to swing productively as they used to. Will mention this to my PT tomorrow. In related, wonderful, news, I've given up taking ibuprofen on a regular schedule since I really don't need it, just some before bed to help me sleep through the night better.

My morning quiet routine was interrupted when the doorbell rang several times before I could run to the door. It was the fella that I buy free range chicken eggs from. Yesterday I stopped at his place of business (he fixes most anything mechanical) to buy some eggs, but he had forgot to bring them from home. So this morning AROUND SUNRISE, he came to tell me eggs were available again. Then he stayed for another hour on the front porch chatting about life in general. I don't know what was up with that early morning visit. I guess he was just feeling chatty. It is a good thing his chicken eggs are so awesome (dark orange yokes) or I would have been aggravated at his early morning visit. I am still not quite thrilled about it.

This morning I took LO to his #4 swim lesson of the season. Only 9 more lessons to go.

I made Chicken Alfredo for lunch. I had no idea that it was so quick/easy to make. It was a hit with the guys so I am adding it to the menu planning system.

I made myself lay down after lunch and stay there while listening to a 40 minute podcast. I might of fell asleep during it, but just know that I did feel relaxed and ready to get up when it finished.

Since getting up, I have -
** cleaned 4 toilets
** hung up LOL
** moved wet LOL to dryer
** started another LOL in washer
** monitor LO cleaning his room

Next up -
** Kitchen counters wiped down
** DW loaded/started.
** Team up with LO to vacuum carpeted walkways and deck area around the pool (2 vacuums going at once)
** swim with LO
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.
When life gets difficult, learn to sing & dance in the rain.

Nobody better come here at sunrise! It's bad enough DH is up and about and sometimes his opening and closing the front door as he bring in and out the day's coolers wakes me up. But at least I don't have to answer the door for the chicken man!

I'm so sleepy. Need a nap.

Kathryn, I'll have to remember that about the memory stick thing...I don't think the memory stick will go into the computer, but we have a cable that goes straight from the camera to the computer...that's how we put pictures in here to email to someone. I guess that would work to put on something else that fits...which I would have to figure out what exactly to buy--and I know there's a slot for that way up underneath on the tower. In the meantime, have found out that the drugstore has a slot that works and they're open from 8am to 10pm. WM also prints from a disc...we could also do that. Good idea I hadn't thought about, thanks!

I'd be willing to follow the schedule of decuttering, though I've cleaned out a lot of those places...but with some direction I might find some more!

Grumble grumble grumble ... don't you hate it when you 'fix' something and end up breaking it? My subreport has some default parameters that are NEVER USED. Changing them results in no changes to the data returned. Removing them results in no data at all. Why why why???

More grumbling ... Briggs (foster cat of questionable ancestry) is coming back. The person who adopted him had never had a cat before. Now, he knows they make him break out. Grumble grumble grumble. And he was such a good home too. And ALL my cats liked him - he was able to pet Lara, Cleo, and Tiki, who are generally NOT available to strangers. Not only are strangers not allowed to pet them, strangers never SEE them. However, this person got to pet them all, even sitting three feet from Tiki, who started life as a feral cat.

I will be swapping Lara, who is not getting enough attention in my house, for Bella, who has scared the permanent resident at her other foster house. Lara also is overweight and would likely do better in the house with only one other cat. She does not bother other cats. She is not getting enough attention because she is not a forward, assertive cat. She has moved off the bed to avoid Stratton, who does not attack, but will walk in front of, or even over, other cats, humans, maybe even dogs. The two I would have expected to avoid him (the 15yos) have stood their ground.
