What are your stats for today, this week, so far this year? Just what are those things you have accomplished and can make you feel proud?

Right now, for me, that would be progressive healing. That's the most important thing for me right now and I can then get on to those other things in our home that still need doing. As I sat musing this morning I was thinking about dsisil/dbil coming to visit (mind you, I'm not sure at all that they are coming this year but I want to be ready and not be at a grand rush to get everything to my perfection), I thought about taking just one spot/place each day and bring it up to snuff. Today I think that will be the front TV counter (it's about 10' wide and houses most of our memento stuff).

I want to go down to the laundry room shortly. Dh and I stripped the bed and put new sheets on last night. Oh, they felt so good! I threw out the bottom fitted sheet -it's been torn at the corners for some time. I'll save the flat top sheet for an extra or as a covering for things this fall.

Nice sunny day out there. Did have the furnace on for one round this morning. But then it seems to warm up outside very slowly.

Off to do something with my hair and then to the laundry room. Have I mentioned I love having it only 30 seconds away? Can put a load in (and that's usually all I do at one time), come back home for 30 minutes, run down & switch it to the dryer twin and come back here for an hour. It's SO nice having it so close!

Grand opening last week for our resident Pub & Café (entitled Bedrock Pub & Café -since this is an old gravel pit, it's aptly named -the rec hall is Boulder Hall). So far the food, service and prices are all just great. If he keeps those 'stats', think he'll make a go of this. It's only open to campground people, but so far it's been quite busy -busier than we ever thought it would be. It's nice having a good place to go eat without ever leaving the campground. Menus have been fantastic! At least we won't have far to go to entertain guests. Just wish they would serve breakfast at least one morning. Who knows. But with a limited staff I'm sure they don't want to burn them out either.

I don't know if I've got any stats to be proud of... Weight is certainly troubling... And I STILL do not seem to be able to make myself deal with zone cleaning...
BUT -- I do seem to be improving a tiny bit with WHB, and I've started a new priority of morning routine which seems to be working for me.

Because the shower curtain I ordered finally came, I'm using this quiet Saturday to clean that bathtub/shower and wash the outer curtain. I decided this was important because I'm determined to have no chance for any mildew in there. The shower curtain I had wasn't mildew resistant.

Well, Dee, you started us off nice and early. I assume everyone is busy with homemaking and fun pursuits.

Stats makes me remember that we are on day 11 of a declutter challenge, with "Accessories", and I want to get to that next.

I need to update my stats in H&F... which look pretty good as of the first of the month, but today is * shudder * REALLY bad, weight-wise. I'm going out to walk as soon as I leave the computer.

Just spent over $300 on amazon... which I NEVER do... but I had to re-order dh's bday aftershave -- Belk apparently was out of stock. So while there, I ordered 6 months of hair color, shampoo/body wash, and conditioner for me.

Sheets are off the bed and need to go to the wash.
Need to brush teeth and start a glass of water.
Need to call dmom! Haven't talked to her since MONDAY!!!
Breakfast, Bible, vitamins -- done
Morning exercise -- done

Last night, I drank 2 large glasses of water very close to bedtime. Not good. DH also had a night where he was up and down to the bathroom all night long and I was following him, and in between times, I was imagining scary possibilities w/the babysitter. * sheesh * I hope she will keep ddil updated via FB or text throughout the day... * shaking my head * How did I ever manage to raise a child myself???

Oh -- I decided to go ahead and give myself credit for "garage, storage, etc." on the 30-day challenge as we do those. If y'all didn't see my last post yesterday, we were out there at 11:30 sorting through some stuff in the garage. DH says we're going to the dump again Monday, so I'm going to try to sort through some baby clothes before then, and that will meet the clothing day requirements.

Slept well up by 5. Fed hens went to a yd sale have loom warped. Laundry going needs changed over. 5 for five so far.

I had a relaxing morning! I didn't do much beyond the basics of getting up, s2s and self-care, and breakfast. I, of course, chatted with our houseguests for a while. I also read in bed for a while, enjoying some quiet time after dh left for his long run this morning.

Now, the kitchen is tidy, the dw is running, and a watermelon is in the fridge for small group tonight. I'm heading out to run a couple errands: (1) TSS for chicken feed and (2) WF for odds and ends for our small group cook out tonight.

Later: jog, if I have time. Work on other tasks that I didn't get to earlier this week. Maybe doing the declutter challenge would be good.

Dfriend has gone shopping with her dd11. Mr. dfriend is hanging out in his room, probably with their ds7. Dh is on the patio working. I'm not sure where dd17 and dd19 are. So, the house is very quiet right now.

Twins, over brunch today, dd19 told us that she is interested in going on a dig with a friend next summer. This made me think of your dd. My dd19 is required to have a substantive international experience for her art major, and apparently it doesn't have to be specifically in the area of art/design. Dd19's friend is a year older than her and is a Classics major who is off on a dig near Rome this summer. I guess she'll be doing another dig next summer.

Dh needed to go to our REI equivalent so I biked over with him. Their bikes are more expensive but I thought I should at least check them out. We then biked over to the beach (really, it is on the way home!) and had lunch at the patio there. With the wind coming down the river and the lapping of the waves, you couldn't hear the traffic at all so it was very peaceful (I like that when we are on the island as well - even during rush hour - no traffic noise.

I'm all hot and sweaty now.

Still no decision on a bike but then I didn't intend to shop at all for one today.

Stats:

Have biked 43 km (about 26 miles) so far this week. Won't likely get any more rides in this week because we are gone from 9 until 8 p.m. tomorrow. I reset my trip odometer each Monday before biking to the physiotherapist.

Tossed out 5 stretched bras. And one pair of briefs. Two tops are ready to go to Goodwill, 3 purses, one book and one pair of earrings were put on the giveaway shelf.

Acquired: 2 purses, 1 heating pad and 1 vacuum. Another heating pad and a book were ordered and will arrive next week. Four biking reflector straps will arrive in the mail in August.

This morning I gave myself a pedicure and put two layers of "Nails for Mails" (matte finish polish) on my fingers. Read more of my book and worked on the memorization.

Dh and I just went through all the music for Sunday. There's a lot since he's playing for the morning service as well as my afternoon services.

Walked 2 miles, talked to dmom. She sounded good, and not aggravated at all that I hadn't called all week. I told her it seemed to take a week (or more) to get over a 3-day vacation, and she said, "You'll find it takes longer and longer as you get older."
She also said her stomach seemed to be improving, and she was fine with doing birthday party Wed. after church.

Then, helped dh load a bunch of junk from the garage into the back of the truck, so we're ready to go to the dump Monday morning. Loaded an old bumper pool table (that the man said was not worth repair needed), excess flooring from ds's work in the garage, old dog house (dog has been dead approx 10 years), alternator for a 1978 Thunderbird, and soaker hoses that have long since dried up and crumbled.

Trying to cool off a little, finished second 16 oz glass of water, and I'm about ready to hit the shower. DGS will be here in a couple hours or so, to spend the night.

It appears my son has bought a 1996 BMW Z3.

It looks lovely. But is not practical.

Dd is drooling (it is her dream car.)

All I can think of is that 1) it isn't practical in winter when he really needs a car and 2) he can't fit us and our luggage in it so I've lost my rides to the airport.

He was shopping for a Nissan SUV, so I'm really hoping this is a just a practical joke on FB.
