Got an ugly x-mas sweater at the thrift shop but did not fit so it is going back with the donations. I have re started saving for the Christmas / holiday acct. No longer doing coins it takes to much time and weights a ton at time to turn em in.

On Monday I have to put money in My Christmas account
I also have to put money for upcoming wedding this summer as well as wedding shower gifts and extended family vacation- money is really tight this month - I know my CSA fee is coming soon - also d niece graduates in May
I bought candy for Valentine's Day - so I am all set - Sunday is paperwork day and I will b mailing out Valentine's Day cards and b day cards

It took a while but I remembered what I like for Val. Flowers w roots, usually get em later so told h he was off the hook this weekend.

Doing some thing diff this yr. Dropping off some new things I make each mo. To the Christmas connection instead of waiting till the end of the year free up some space in the closet! Started green dish cloths yesterday for this.

This week planted roses w roots. Finished knitting up a sage green dish cloth, and made up a coupke of red & white striped crochet hot pads for the Christmas connection. Started another one.

Dh and I talked about saving for Christmas again - eeek time to start for that again - I let the holiday account go to the wayside - it is frightening but d Nancy ur saving for the holidays was my inspiration and a God send for last years Christmas
W this year having so many large dollar expenses- I think it will b difficult
May 1 I already have an idea for one person so I will buy this item then

I'm still trying work on Christmas handmades every 25th, but I give myself a break and move that to another date if it doesn't work out. I think if I didn't allow that, I would get discouraged!
