Re: *** Holiday Planning, 2016 ***
found out dh really wanted these shelves for his closet for his collection..(he is moving his cloths to my closet) and was waiting until he could afford it. I decided that this would be his early Christmas present as the shelves were on sale... so dh is done for Christmas!!!!
(except for stocking stuffers).
d girls get their own gifts for dh who is very hard to buy for.

Nancy, that's when everybody needs Christmas! Actually, you can cancel in Sept but then it will be back on in Oct and you'll feel like cancelling in Nov and it will still be back on in Dec so might as well figure anything can happen and plan on it.
I don't know what it will mean that ds has a nice new house at Christmas this year. If they are ready for company at Thanksgiving, will they want to have us all then, and still figure Christmas is with me? Not sure. Ds tells me ddil is already saying she wants the biggest tree they've ever had this year, and he's assuming he'll be working hard to get that done and up.
Wish I had more of those heart ornaments made - they are cute and maybe I should have kept making them on along so I would have remembered well how to do it. Now I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel to start on those again.

Re: *** Holiday Planning, 2016 ***
I sewed up bags with holiday print red white and green some of the words say family traditions this yr, that will fly as dd & sil are about to split.
.
That would be like pouring salt in a open wound so nope cannot do what I want.
I have three kinds of pie in the freezer all from the mark down rack.
Dd does crepes for the family hate em nor eat em and dread that. I have not been able to skip them maybe this will be the year that will change to some thing better.
