how cool that your dd is illustrating your cards. dd younger had painted (water-colour) for our last Christmas card. how cool!
Love that your dd is so creative d harriet!

Years ago I realized I was the only one that had 2 of my grandfathers drawings (one when he was 12 and one when he was 16) - 12 was a christmas scene and the other was of a girl praying. I made each person in the family a copy and used that as our Christmas cards that year.

I am working on updating contact info.we used to call it a Christmas card list now it is the cell phone list.
Dson said we needed one after we could not contact two of his uncle's this past week.
So we have been working on that.

bought my brother a long underwear shirt - so I am finished with them. yay!

for our Christmas card this year I decided to take a lot of the pictures of the Christmas trees from the past holidays including d grandparents, d moms and d dads and ours and make a collage. I will see how that turns out.

dd older gave me ideas for family name pull - thrilled. dh is thinking of ideas for family name pull. (we pull names on thanksgiving)
I still need ideas from dd younger for family name pull.
and for dh and I and Santa to give.

Phones are everywhere and every-tool now.
Our minister says : "And now, if you will turn with me in your phones to (scripture verse)." He's being funny, but it's not far off. You will definitely see some phones come up in people's hands.

I ordered our stamps for Christmas cards. Decided mainly on the new foursome of Santa Claus stamps, of which the one with glasses on his forehead looks like HRH! (In reality, one reason that one will look nostalgic or comforting to people is because it is from an old Coca Cola ad - probably not the most wholesome when you think about it.) But I really like the winter birds, too, and got one of those. Got a pane each of the first-responders and the WPA Posters ones to carry us through the winter for other correspondence and bills.

I invited a dcousin who lives alone to come to our Thanksgiving meal Saturday. If that were to work out, that would mean 17 of us.

ordered my d brothers present for my d mom - it will come to my house but I will put together a couple pictures for my d mom to put in a card.
ordered on sale pjs for dd younger.
bought a beautiful Christmas decoration.

Got 2 strings of holiday lights multi - colored, on it up put the small less than 6 inch. Crystal tree is up. Found my holiday shirts and Santa had. Found the table clothes I kept the white ones.
