Re: March Declutter - Mentoring Each Other, 2019
today was a hard day. I have been working with dd youngers stuff (just pulling stuff out and separating it for her to look at - so many decisions)
I am emptying her room so it can be washed down.
I think I only have her keepsakes in the basement to pull upstairs for her to go through.
Trying to put everything in one spot.
I had planned on putting a new rug or wood floors but just had to put $850 on my card. 2 weeks from now they are coming back to repair the outside for mice.

Re: March Declutter - Mentoring Each Other, 2019
I feel better - Tuesday, I was drained by decision and action fatigue even if it was only 2 hours. i knew there was a problem when i had decision paralysis and feeling overwhelmed. I felt drained well into Wednesday morning. not good.
Thank goodness I use my timer and work hard not to do all or nothing thinking or decision making during this time.
Boy I am glad that this will not be an issue again until next Tuesday. one hour is the goal so i don't get drained.
I could make a plan of attack again this morning. now I know what to do next in that area.
dh and I have been getting good at decision making during the regular week. such as when we open a drawer and see something that shouldn't be there or needs to go, we do it right away.
But boy am I glad that last Tuesday is over. no more analysis paralysis
I know I will probably get stressed all over again next week; but, hopefully not as bad as I have a plan of attack. lol.
dh took our clutter (one small bag) to the donation place and tossed the one large black bag of garbage. It is making me re think my spending habits.
