Yeah, dh will bring home something because he thinks it's "neat." But it goes into a cabinet or drawer without any thought of what will happen to it, or what it is to be used for.

Re: May 2021 Sort, Tidy, Declutter!
I am reaching the end of my rope in decluttering. it's frustrating me which means I have to stop even though it's not that much left to go through.
donating a good sewing machine of d mom's as I have one already and having been using it. (d brother took it)
I took all my lined paper I had for the girls and recycling it
getting rid of empty notebooks I don't use - donating it.
getting rid of knitting needles/markers as I don't have the skill or interest in knitting (d brother took for his friends girlfriend) I realize if I have a choice between knitting and sewing - sewing is my thing. quilting is my thing. I used to love smocking too.
I also got rid of a Peter rabbit alphabet cross stitch - I made a pillow for my d niece when she was young and haven't done anything with it since - she is now 35 lol.
I have about 5 to 6 empty plastic boxes - I could store it in crawl space but I will decide this later
walker gone d brother took it and he took the wheel chair back
also I had 2 large platters - donated one
donating a large water color duck painting. I should see if the local hunting club would want it - it's on Facebook marketplace
8' ladder gone d brother took it.
he also took the extra wood
he cut down wood for me so the trash people will take it.
got rid of some broken Christmas lights
went through music - 1/2 gone - time to call the piano teacher for me.
My decluttering for this year is officially done! now to work on outdoor stuff and health for the summer. I think that I will whittle down Christmas when that comes around.

Blessed you win the prize for having the oldest ufo project! A 35 yr old pillow project!
My cross stitch picture is back again in a box and back in my closet. I don't know if I will ever be able to finish it.
