I had a lovely woman pick up the painting. I love young people starting out! this morning I have a man picking up (hopefully) the Filson vest. I still have a small bag of donations in my car.
Man picked up the vest and a magazine
De cluttered my fridge - I still want to move water and juice into other fridge\
5/12 - decluttered cabinet

Re: May 2021 Sort, Tidy, Declutter!
got rid of my donut pan (like a muffin pan)
I had a hard time getting rid of two books that I hadn't opened. Martha Stewart's housekeeping book (I love the idea of it and if I had been young, when buying this book, I would have read the book cover to cover. Getting rid of this one was hard but it was good to share it with the library.
I also got rid of the book salt..fat something. I really wanted to read through this but I know it wouldn't change my cooking.

Re: May 2021 Sort, Tidy, Declutter!
Good job on books. blessed, I've thought of buying that eating/food book several times but never have. Even though it likely contains wisdom, by now I believe the info would be contained in other books I care more about, anyway.
Rather than allowing them to pass the donation test, I threw away two books with which I do NOT any longer agree, health-wise. Other books are on their way to Goodwill, considered valuable enough, even though I fear a few could sort of waste someone's time. (That's not enough of a sin to get tossed!) Oddly, a book given to me that looked as though it was not "up my alley" turned out to be a keeper. A net loss of books, though.

I have a couple things at front door to donate
I finally decided to get rid of the Ravinia blanket - it's too thick and heavy to carry when we go to concerts
dh donated a different chair from upstairs bc he loved the chair I was going to donate. (one in and one out)

I put a big tray in the donate bin. It was a silvery-looking plastic thing we'd gotten with a big batch of cookies from a church thing they were going to toss and DH dragged home. We've never used it, never would use it, so off it went.
