Very distressed about the war with that insane man. I was very busy with work paperwork for almost 2 weeks. I dropped all of that off with the accountant 2 days ago. Felt the weight leave my shoulders when I finished December of 2021 and it balanced.

This is a very hard week for me. My mother's birthday is tomorrow, so I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I do like the Ides of March though. 2 years ago today my ex MIL died of "pneumonia" and she had been in and out of hospital for around a week. Because things were so unclear at the start of the past 2 years of you-know-what, she may very well have died of Covid as she was in a nursing home that later became one of the hotspot ones here in Ontario, with numerous people dying in that home. I think there was a class action lawsuit for that home later because so many people there died.

Bright spot on horizon is 7th wedding anniversary on the 20th.

Supper tonight is spaghetti and meat sauce. Company that I usually buy my sauce and pasta from seems to have "disappeared" from store shelves. Although all of the shelves are completely full, this brand is gone. I had no choice than to buy another brand of sauce for the first time in many, many years.

I still do analysis of "Risk vs Rewards" in deciding about most situations. My risk and rewards are different than other people. I'm okay with being different and hope others make the right choices for their circumstances.

I've been playing in the dirt this morning. Every time I have free moments the dirt is like a magnet to me. There is always something I want to do. Planting seeds on germination mat. Transplanting sprouts from germination mat to 16oz containers and put under the lights. Transplanting seedlings from under the lights to 1/2-gallon size pots. The bigger size pots/plants are taken outside during the day and brought in at sunset. If I get caught up with these, then i head outside to play in the garden. I have been painting every day that weather allows. All the metal garden decorations now have a fresh coat of paint. It took me weeks to accomplish this painting project because i was doing it a little at a time.

DH took DMIL to an aquarium today. DH will take her out to eat afterward.

DD10 just got out of the shower and washed her hair.

Hurray So good to see you Cathy and happy for your upcoming wedding anniversary. Hope you have a wonderful day. I too can't find the spaghetti sauce brand that I like either in the stores here. Not sure if its just because I moved from one side of the Mississippi to the other. My Blue Plate Mayo in AZ is Hellmann's Mayo here.

Playing in dirt is always fun LadyM and I am missing my sunflower gardens. I do have several very large pots that I am getting ready to plant in once I get to my new home. The Magic Roundabouts and Ruby Eclipse are new to me and the Italian Whites were a favorite from last year. They should grow to be 5-6' tall and I have had good success growing sunflowers that size in my large pots. I'm also going to grow African Daisies. They love the sun and are easy to grow. Will need to watch how the sun travels around my new home before I plant those. My home faces south and the back of the house which faces the lake will get a good amount of sun. The difference between growing sunflowers in AZ to FL is the amount of daily sunlight they get. AZ seldom has clouds during the growing season, and of course FL has clouds that the sun travels in and out of.

Made it to in person Bible study it was good I was the only other one there other than the leader then one other gal came at the end.
Glad I went. [Also took a loaf of frozen herb bread for the pastor.]

I walked the dog afterwards.
I've had lunch, the sun it out not but windy.
Having a good day.

hello again - I needed a break - time is going very slowly

emptied laundry room - put the fencing in the yard for the summer - it will snow again and it will be below 10 again but for today I decided the fencing could go out -
swept and blew out the garage floor
moved some things into where my car is normally.

dh doesn't notice things and even though seeing the dogs in the garage behind the tall gate- I had the tall gate across the one open garage door - he saw me waving but didn't put two and two together - I am not a swearer but I did -its so rare but I did it. - both dogs ran out the garage door dh opened and to the 45 mph (everyone goes faster) 2 lane very busy road. I waited to hear one the dogs to get hit by a car or a large truck. I called them and one came back but the other didn't at first. She did come but, oh my, nothing tested my wits than the dogs running full speed to the road. dh is in his mind a lot on what he wants to do and doesn't see anything else -(he has this thing about his car going straight into the garage. it's gotten worse since he had cancer and totally understandable. I bet I will go that way before you know it.

I would love to have both sides of the garage to put the extra books etc. out of the house for the floor sanding but dh wants his car in at night.

I have to go again but I am thinking of all of you. It always makes me happy that have all of you wonderful women to work with.

Listening to Anne of Green Gardens - I haven't heard that since I was younger.
I already finished a couple books on gardening etc. but I wanted something that would give me a homey feeling while I emptied the house and getting ready for the movers.

next:
move the rest of the fence to the yard - I wish I had the want to get physically dirty so that I could work out in the muddy yard.
I have to think about what to do next:

flip flop laundry
wash two loads of towels.
empty dw
make dinner
put the detergent from the top of the dryer onto a shelf in the garage
look for trash/donation/put away

Had my appt for annual check-up at ob-gyn… ugh.
I hate that so much. The uncomfortable part lasts less than 2 minutes, I’m sure. (I counted to distract myself.) But it seems like forever.

Plus, d?h and I had a really stupid argument on the way over there and I was just in a stressed-out, miserable mood when I arrived.

Sigh.
