Re: Tuesday Ta-da PWYC
Good Morning!
I woke up before the alarm and wanted to get started on my day. 3.5 hours later I'm ready to take a break.
TA-Da's =
** 5 routines completed
** DD10 taken to school with a happy conversation about the pro/cons of using 12 vs 24 hour clocks.
** DS13 homeschool finished! He worked late last night and early this morning to get his assignments done. He is now traveling to the big city with his boss to attend a class to learn about & then pick up their new travel trailer. DS13 is celebrating one year anniversary of working for this boss. DS13 has learned so much over the past year.
** Trash taken to the road
** All ingredients gathered to make a Mexican casserole. Elderberries potluck lunch is at 11am.
We are under a Red Flag warning because of the substantial risk of fires. Our warm temperatures, up to 60mph wind gust and below 10% humidity is a bad combination. One spark can cause an immense amount of loss.
LucyLee - My basket theme was based on 2 things that seemed humorous to me when I put them together. One of them was a dish towel that said Blessed are those who do dishes and the other one was a sign that said Crazy Blessed. I then filled the basket with matching kitchen items.

Re: Tuesday Ta-da PWYC
I have been busy - Saturday I washed down the kitchen walls, tile and cabinets to get ready for the painters
I washed down the family room for the painter and put away my Alsatian pottery
Monday I worked in the garage and got rid of old wood floor extras and garbage. I don't have anymore room in the bin - I have to admit I am getting excited for Friday's garbage day.
today's hope:
go to paint/wallpaper shop to figure out colors - we can't paint with colors right now but when they are free again then I will have them come back to do the wall paper and accent painting.
another hope:
work on spring clean up and weeds
contact the young man for after the pod is gone - to help me move dirt. you know what I would love to do - rent a skid loader and move it myself - it sounds like so much fun for me.
My dh couldn't handle me doing this but oh it sounds like so much fun.

I love that theme, LadyM!
We had a very restless night.,
Dh just seems to have chronic pain, all over, and sometimes it is almost more than he can bear. I just don’t know how to help him, except to just be here and listen to him.
Funeral visitation
Ballgame
Laundry
—.Those should be my Ta-das for the day.

CI ~ I am better today some what, have been dealing with isshy tummy the past few days.
Just taking it one day at a time this week and having breaks between tasks to rest seems to be working.
I can see the snow half way down the hill today.
I have gotten on a lot of knitting done during this winter weather storm.
No plans this weekend I am just treating it like a regular day.
Slept well!

Got trash out & back from the curb.
Did today's bujo planning & work book.
Glad the dishes & laundry are current.
Stat bike x

Got property taxes mailed.
Store run done.
Had lunch.
Curled up on the couch with ddog on my feet,
I have been enjoying reading your posts.

Store run for a few things done.
Did a round outside of some tasks for at leaat ten min. To get more fresh air and out of the house.

Re: Tuesday Ta-da PWYC
Ta-Da!! I have spent the greater share of the morning dealing with S pectrum, trying to get dh's internet in the RV set up. According to them it was turned on March 30th. Dh called last night to say there was none. They finally via many phone calls between me, Spe ctrum, & dh, were able to discern that he needed a technician to come out. So that was scheduled for 6pm today. (I know this because they texted me very early this morning -waking me up- of the appointment). Dh called me and said some techs were at the campground this morning and discovered the switch was off in the S pectrum building there. Turned it on -dh still didn't have internet so I called and explained all that. Appt still on for tonight. Then dh called again to say he came across these same tech guys at the campground and they came by the RV and did a couple of things. Wallah now has internet. YAY!
Dh has made appointment with hearing aid people there for tomorrow. He's lost all communication between his phone and hearing aids. It's been almost a year since he was there so it's probably a good thing. Said he has today off and that too is good so he's getting odds 'n ends done.
Now, maybe I can get on with MY day. Dsonil went to town to mail a booklet to DS-R that he left here. Has all his rules for High School lacrosse.
DS-A texted me earlier that they were on the way to their hotel. WAIT, WHAT? Only now realized that they flew down here today for a week at Disney. Knew they were coming but for some reason I hadn't thought yet. But of course! -he plans to come here next Thursday (21st) after DDIL flies back home. He was feeling awful because he felt he should be here for Dsisil's Memorial Service. We convinced him it would mean more to Dbil if he makes a point of going to see him next week. Little did I realize that if he HAD come it would have meant him flying back Sunday only to come down today. No sense in that. And with all the people at this service it definitely will mean more for him to come next week.
Your DS has worked for this boss a year already, Lady M? And he's still obviously enthralled with this job. He's learning so much for such a young man. DD had a student come to her yesterday to talk about his parents trying to get him to get a college education. He wants to learn a trade. She told him some things he didn't know -like if he goes for a trade, often a workplace will end up paying for college courses. Bet he changes his parents' minds. "You mean I could go to college, free?!!"

Re: Tuesday Ta-da PWYC
Blessed - WOW! You have so much going on in your home.
Casserole is baking. I'll take it out in about 5 minutes. Salad is made and packed to travel.
I don't know if our church has returned to pre-covid schedule since we joined the church at the beginning of c19. But WOW! They sure do like to gather and eat. This week (7 days) there are 4 meals at church. Each meal has a different purpose - kids ministry, elder ministry, work day, Easter celebration. DH and I are unique in that we have kids and are elders, so we hit all the groups.
OH! I want to come play with you and the skid loader. Even if it is just an imaginary one.I would love to do - rent a skid loader and move it myself - it sounds like so much fun for me.

Re: Tuesday Ta-da PWYC
Ta-da! again I think. Had told dh this morning to just slide his app for his F itbit on his phone to see if it'll sync his steps. Just looked and it's syncing so hopefully that's all we have to do to get his steps counted on the site. (Insurance pays $10 on a gift card for each month that we go 7,500 steps or more.) We're keeping these (reloadable) cards in my purse and just use them whenever we're out to eat. Something wrong there I think.
