So sorry you lost a post, Harriet. Come back and share when you have a chance!
I walked a couple of laps. Sure would be nice to have a dog to walk with.

Hard day
Need nap
Took a break to get plants back into sun. Fertilized dd's.
Otherwise, spending the day generally disappointing teachers or computers.
Btw, how does a quiz with five questions (which should be illegal) end up with a grade of 75 with one question missed, four questions right? (Subject health, quiz on computer.)

Re: Wednesday PWYC
Went to see Dbil. Sad to see how much I can see he is going downhill. He said he has appointments next Wednesday for a PET scan and an MRI. I really don't see how he's going to be able to avoid at least 'assisted living'. Know he'd promised to never put Dsisil in a facility but I don't see how that could be possible for him in the long run.
It was really good to be able to chat with Dbil/dsisil's niece from WY. Saw her last week at the service for dsisil but it was so nice to be able to just catch up. Saw her probably several 100 times over the years until they moved to WY 4 years ago. Even then I think I've seen a couple of different times. She's always been close to our family as well.
Reminds me I need to look up DS-R's social security # for dbil. He's changing his life insurance policy and some other things. Sure he has it with some things as they had a 'trust' for the nieces and nephews.

Re: Wednesday PWYC
Back from a good Bible study. We compared notes on how good it was Sun. too!
Great weather here today it is good to see the sun.
I made soup in the crockpot it was great!
LM Thanks for the input about a mower, one gal said the rechargeable plug in kind did not last long.
Other one they got was a battery one that was heavy. I am thinking I need to do some more research on these.
Harriet sorry you lost a post.
I did a round outside glad we have sun!
Got a bag of trash out of here.
Dinner & dishes are done.
Clouds are here now.
Walked to the corner and picked up a half bag of trash we get wind on Mon. one neighbor puts her trash out the night before
and this is what ends up in the field [sigh] not the first time I have picked this up. At least I do not have to look at it on my walks now.
Bathroom swish happened.

Re: Wednesday PWYC
Took me the better part of half an hour but I finally found DS-R's ss info. Knew I had it here somewhere. Only realized then that we must have gotten his card and DS-A's at the same time as only the final digit is one apart. At least that's done and I've phoned his niece with the info. She said she'd be sure to destroy the info once he does what he needs to do. Glad I was finally able to find it. Now to put that info with other needed info for our wills, etc.

Frustrating time with citations. Trying to be consistent and it's so hard. Interrupted by dd calling to ask last four digits of dh's social (we're on the same track today Dee) so she could order a new phone on our account. She called once and I didn't pick up because I was outside getting the mail and it was trying to fly away in the wind, then she called back again.
And at the same time the guy came by to count the windows and give us an estimate for cleaning them.
I need to go out and walk another couple of laps. Perhaps it would clear my head. Supposedly feels like 71 outside but that's not what I felt when I was getting the mail.

Re: Wednesday PWYC
We have bright sunshine with 94F temps today. I'm not used to the heat yet and got too hot. I had to come inside and cool down in front of fan.
DS10 is home from school. Today was the state ELA testing that consisted of 3 separate tests. They did 2 tests before lunch and one afterwards. She fell asleep after test #1 while waiting for others to finish. The tests were all done on the computer, but they were given scrap paper, so she doodled while waiting after test #2. They allowed the students to leave the room after they finished test #3 and go outside to play.
Tonight is Italian potluck at church. I'm taking salad and pizza. I'm leaving in 30 minutes to help set up.

Re: Wednesday PWYC
I'm really dragging today... I am slightly depressed and just in a blah mood. I'm aggravated because the friend I mentioned in J&C has STILL not called or texted me back to put the lid on that can of worms she opened up and it is just driving me crazy. Even though I KNOW that knowing what else she had to say will probably STILL not give me the "closure" I want on this whole thing... I'm telling myself to trust that the Lord knows IF I even need more information and He knows WHEN I will have time to process it without having an "audience" (dgrands, dh) present for a phone conversation.
I'm just in a irritable mood.
I've done N O T H I N G today except s2s & read the newspaper.
We did not have the dgrands all afternoon/evening as expected. DS/DDIL's plans changed. However, after being promised supper with us, dgs still wanted to come over and have baked fish with us. DGD is coming too, but will bring her own food, LOL.
Then I am taking them to church, but ddil will pick them up afterwards.
It's not JUST my personal insanity that has me in such a mood...
* Found it's going to cost approx $1000 to replace the tv antenna... guy is supposed to be here next week.
* We have to wait around (maybe an hour or so?) to pick up dbro & dsisil at the airport Saturday after dgs' recital, which puts dh in a mood because he is anxious to get home. DH doesn't want to eat supper with them that night.
* And dbro is going to need a ride BACK to the airport Tuesday, when the antenna guy is supposed to be here, and dh wants me to be here when he comes...
* Sunday is a hectic day and dh has proclaimed himself unavailable to socialize then as well, but dgrands and I might join dmom, dbro, and dsisil that day, maybe...
* Both dgrands will be here Sunday night and I will be taking them to school Monday.
* DDIL's mom had a wreck last night, fortunately she was not hurt, but I am wondering if the fact that her car is unavailable now will make their weekend plans change. They had planned to keep dgd Friday & Saturday nights while we had dgs.
Y'all know how Sheldon is easily overwhelmed when he is over-booked with obligations...
Friday -- ballgame
Saturday -- recital & dbro
Sunday -- dgrands
Monday -- ballgame out of town
Tuesday -- ballgame farther out of town + antenna man
and I keep looking at my phone like a teenager, thinking Why doesn't she call???

Lucylee…
Maybe your friend hasn’t call because the information/conversation is not as important to her as it is to you and may not understand why you need to hear from you.
