I was up at 8:30ish. Earlier than yesterday but the alarm had gone off every nine minutes for a solid hour.

Working so I can get back upstairs to my desk.

An earlier day today for me at dd's because she had an early meeting from (zoom) her in person office where there are no other people. Convoluted system right now.

It will also be a later day because she must pick up two boys and go straight to 3:00 appt, so I need to stay until they get back.

I've brought two meals to her freezer in case one isn't enough today and I've already had apple slices I brought from home.

Have fun back at your desk, twins'.

Good Morning!

It is same-oh-same-oh here. I adore having normal days.
** Routines #1, 2, and 3 are completed.
** Kid ride #1 of the day completed (DD10 delivered to school)

I am cooking lunch and taking it to DGS25 workplace today to celebrate his birthday. He got himself into debt so he is working 4 jobs to get himself out of debt. He leaves one job and goes directly to the next one. Since his lunch break is the only time that he has available today, we will have a picnic near the vet clinic.

I walked so have almost 80% of the (low) goal for steps for today. I have probably sneezed 100 times since I got up. This is only a slight exaggeration.

Yesterday in my clumsiness I was trying to get all the corrugated into the recycle bin for pick up and realized I had a couple of boxes jammed too tightly at the top. I wasn't sure they would come out when the bin was turned upside down, so I started pulling on the closest one, which came loose and hit my lower lip. It's a little sore and bruised, even on the outside today. And then, yesterday wasn't even the recycle day - it's next week.

Dh just called and let me know that he's not going to be able to make his connecting flight to get home, and isn't sure there's a later flight that would get him home. So he will let me know.

I wish I knew what would get me started up and fully productive right now. Do I have spring fever? There's so much I "should" be doing and I don't want to do any of it. I'm stuck.

DH update: "If all goes well" he will be home around midnight. I'm glad he drove to the airport!

Twins… sometimes if I have too much going on for too long I just need to take a break and do something fun for myself. I am making sure I do that now. After 5 weeks of shingles and their complications, packing again for a week and then spending 6 days moving small loads… as many as four loads a day, then the move and now having all this overload with my mom and trying to find solutions for my home, I am beyond being burnt out.

Would love to get away from the house and go to the beach, but not sure how my arm would react to that. Still I need some get-away time from all of this and need to find some fun time. I haven’t cooked dinner in weeks and been eating out most nights. I am allowing myself a glass of wine or a bottle of beer, which I really love, and am completely ignoring my scale.

I am going to start walking again in the evenings with Sweetie and am looking forward to going to a flea market I just learned about. The house will still be waiting when I come home :D

Home from a successful picnic celebrating DS25 birthday with him. He was grateful for my effort and thanked me several times. I arrived at his workplace and found a secluded shady place out of the wind. I set up the chairs, tables, and food then texted DGS25 a picture of it and told him where it was located.
He laughed as I laid out the food and explained the purpose of each.
* Chips and dip because your Nana is a chipoholic and I'm sure you have inherited this gene. Birthdays should be celebrated with chips!
* 3 kinds of fresh vegetables so we can pretend we are eating healthily.
* Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo pasta because I couldn't decide which meat, so I included them both.
* 4 kinds of cheesecake because you love all kinds, and I couldn't limit it to just one on your birthday.

I'm taking a break and then will help DS13 with his Math assignment. This curriculum has excellent video examples but for some reason he isn't "getting it" today. We will sit down together and go one step at a time through solving the problem. Repeat, repeat, repeat until it clicks with him.

Hello everyone. It is quite cloudy today, temp. is 85*, however I haven't been outside yet today.

RRose, hope your migraine doesn't last long. You deserve a well-earned break!
Harriet enjoy your day with dgrands!
Nancy, feel better!
Lady M, routines are the best! ;) Happy birthday to dgs25! What a nice picnic!
Twins', might be pollen in the air making you sneeze. It's been high here lately.

Sunday I enjoyed our visit with my dniece and her dfamily. It was nice to catch up with what's going on in everyone's lives. We don't get together very often. Yesterday, we all rested up from our outing a little south of here on Tuesday. I think dsis posted about it. Anyway, it was the first time I'd been in that area; lots of specialty shops, ice cream and coffee cafe`s, all for the tourists. We had a nice lunch by the water. It was a nice day, good to get some walking in.

I was up and dressed by 9:30 am, earlier than recently. Dsis and I each went to bed earlier than we had been doing. It's a quiet day for me. I've paid bills for the rest of the month, so that is off my mind. Now it is time for a bite of lunch, probably a hard boiled egg.
