Saturday - It's the weekend - PWYC
Happy Saturday! Hope we're all able to share time with friends and family and get some of that relaxation that LadyM and Harmony mentioned yesterday. Harmony knows relaxation! Be like Harmony!

Morning…
Dee… hope your DD is feeling better. Nothing worse than a broke or cracked rib, unless it’s two!
Had a great day yesterday as we took off and went to a very large Flea market. Lots of things to look at and just a fun time wandering around.
Had lunch at a place close to home and then came home and read for a while. Tried to sit outside by the pool but the sun really aggravated my arm. Hopefully by next week my arm will be doing better because I want to go too the beach.
Am ready to start doing some unpacking. Think I’ll work on my closet because I’ve been wearing the same few pieces of clothes for the past six weeks. So much for a micro closet!
See y’all later….

Busy day here! Bat mitzvah this a.m. into lunch, and dinner out tonight with friends for their 40th anniversary.
Back later, need to get ready.

Good Morning!
Today I'm attending a lady's day out. We are going somewhere and doing something which doesn't matter to me. What I am looking forward to is the time spent with DFriends and building relationships.
The event is over at 4pm and it is an hour drive home. The timing is important today because of the weather. The weather guys have painted a target over my area for tornadoes and golf ball size hail predicted between 5-8pm.
LucyLee - I hope your holly bushes come back. I am betting they will. Holly bushes are tough! Make sure they get plenty of moisture and fertilizer and give them time. Sounds like you have access to an experienced plant person there. Did you put mulch around them?
Yes! I totally agree!Be like Harmony!

Good morning ladies. I slept well showered before bed. Bs is awesome!
This morning the work continues on the current project the basement:
I have sheets in the wash and have sorted a drawer of momentos condensed that, put two totes away, found
empty boxes I can let go of as well. Decluttered a few items tossed a few others.
To prevent overwhelm I am working till I feel i need a break and then take one.
So my first hour is good I did my planning & processing emotions before I started, had alight bulb moment
I am not attached to some of this stuff like I thought I would be and it is easier than I thought it would be yea for that.
The hard part is deciding to I keep kids grannys high school diploma or not and if so where?
On my breakfast break now and waiting on the dryer to shut off.
Cleaning clothes & towels are off the line in the laundry room.
Stairs got swept last nite.
I brought up a shelf I am no longer inclined to paint.
It can be donated.
I have some other items as well to bring up later.
I was up by five today and got to see the sunrise first time this week I was up on time for that.
Poof dryer is done.
More laundry going now.

Re: Saturday - It's the weekend - PWYC
Finally got up at 9:22! F itbit says I got 10 hours 9 minutes last night. I sure needed it. I slept ALL night & got up at 6:12 for a bathroom break & took a ty lenol. Should have taken my Thyroid med instead as it was nearly 9:30 by the time I took it. Guess I'm close to being time enough for me to take my other morning meds and get breakfast.
I spent the time waiting to take meds and got the dishwasher emptied & put the dirty ones in. Got the kitchen spiffed. There's a lot of (all too tempting) snack foods on the counter. DD will take them to school with her Monday for her students. She always buys snacks & good ones at that to have on hand when students come in and say, "Miss J I'm starving. Do you have anything?" I almost started to put the bottles of water in the back room fridge when I remembered they use those at school for fund raiser for the SKILLS team. She'll have to have dsonil put them in the car for her. She's just taking it easy today and putting heat on her rib cage. Dr said it's quite possible she has 2 cracked ribs but it wouldn't show in the x-ray. Nonetheless she's very sore and moving slow. She has a game at her 'fun job' tonight and plans to go.
DS-A and DGS9 finally got off from Orlando airport last night. Think I saw they were taking off at 9:36pm, flying in to Buffalo. Then the trip back to home -which is about 20 miles west of Rochester. Know they were due in after midnight and they were both exhausted. DGS was doing well after their round with his abcessed tooth. Went to an urgent care not too far out of Disney. He was very sick & uncomfortable with a great deal of swelling. It ended up being a baby tooth that hadn't come out while a perm was trying to make it through and it became abcessed.
DD and dsonil got back a little after 8pm from the airport last night, stopping at Ch ili's to pick up dinner for them. They called me but I'd already eaten.
Have a wonderful Saturday!

Nancy… I’m with you taking needed breaks so I don’t get overwhelmed
LadyM… thought of you this morning. My second cup of coffee sat for a while so it was room temperature when I went to drink it. Decided to put ice in it and it tasted divine!
Dee… when I cracked my ribs they didn’t show up on the X-rays. Remember I got caught between my brother van and my moms car door when I went home last year. Turns out I had both bruised and cracked ribs and they hurt just as much as when I broke two some years ago.
Back to work… I’ve come out of the closet several times today

I got dd & dgd clothes out of closet and dresser ready to bag up on the bed.
The dresser is empty in that room now.
Closet just has one coat in it.
I have an abundance of old towels for cleaning.
I have not used them all but could be handy for cleaning.
some day...
Got the trash out of the kitchen.
Folded a load of laundry.
I can see that have been making some more progress it is good to see that is being made, i need to get myself a reward. Boxes are off the steps. I can see it now and that helps.
I need to journal.
I want to sew a seam.

LadyM, they don't have a lot of mulch around them, lady is supposed to come and re-do that part too. They had black plastic under the mulch when they were planted, but she is going to put the cloth stuff down.
I will ask her about fertilizer too -- what she recommends.
Piano recital is on the schedule for us.
I have s2s and colored my hair, for what it’s worth. It is definitely becoming more resistant to color. But dbro hadn’t seen me in 2 years — didn’t want to shock him.
Dgs had to s2s.
We pick up dmom at1:30, recital at 3:00, dbro lands at 4;00 and we’ll pick him up on the way home.

My hair is becoming more resistant also. I'm not giving up coloring it just yet.
I woke up for no good reason extremely early. Tackled the things I'd been thinking about. Mostly desk chores. Fixed the checkbook which was messed up and I did some budgeting work. Paid another couple bills and got them up to the mailbox.
I'm still in my nightgown. Suppose I should get dressed.
