Tuesday Timing
Do you have any timing issues today?
I'm working some deadlines and scheduling moments into a busy day.
Maybe you're timing a project, chore or plan.
Enjoy your day, however your time is budgeted!

Re: Tuesday Timing
Trying to get up at the top of the hour and get more steps in and move is today's goal.
It frosted so glad I brought in my mother's day plants and the veg & herbs I did not put in yet.
One more bag to go out to the curb in the trash before thrash pick up are some of my timing goals.
I took Rx and got up on time.
So happy with progress yesterday.
There is one more cold night here typically frost is possible till 5-15 of the month.
Snow in may happened this weekend in the mtns. up near friends.
I can do pupa and rbr as well as bwp. Items.
Yesterday we did a donation drop off.
Found a metal bench to put together did not even know that was under the stairs!
Dgd took that and said if they did not have room she
would try to sell it.

Re: Tuesday Timing
My timing is going to be spent putting out fires in our bedroom. Going in very shortly to compile a l**t. I did do a spiffing in the kitchen yesterday and did a LOL. That was about it. I definitely wasn't feeling up to par (well, I only did sleep a little over 2 hours the night before & that may have played a biggish part). I simply didn't feel well all day. Will be so glad to have all my mouth issues to go away -sure that's playing a big part in not feeling well.
As it was I didn't feel like getting my steps in until last night, but I did make my 7,500 so felt good about that.
Dh seems to be feeling better. Hoping the other SHE board hubbies are getting better as well.
Dh said last night that he's going to calling hours for our dear friend up home this afternoon, then staying for the service. That really surprised me but I'm glad he is. The wife has been my bosom buddy up there since probably mid-60's. Haven't been in very good communication with her over the last year or so though and just found out last night that she's having dialysis 3x a week. We do plan to get together once I get back home.
DD figured out yesterday that the graduation of her former student that she wants to attend in GA is at least 8 hours away -not 4. So her new plan is not to go to graduation but to watch the streaming. Then she'd like to make a side trip on the way home to see him and present him with some items from the school here. Then we'd journey on. Guess where he lives, Twins, is near TN. Any suggestions for motels up that way? Think he's graduating from Winder(?) high school. Now I'm second guessing making this much longer trip.

Re: Tuesday Timing
Morning…
The site has been slow for me as well this last couple of days.
Had a wonderful Mother’s Day at my sons home. He ordered a huge breakfast from a local restaurant and we all had brunch there.
Sweetie and I have been hanging pictures the last few days. Some went up easy and others gave us a fits. First day Sweetie wrestled with a slogan board I wanted over my sink. Turns out the brackets were crooked which kept giving him fits because it wouldn’t hand straight. I was surprised he finally figured it out given how he sometimes now has problems with his math. He was determined to get it right and I just stepped back and let him do it. I knew it was a pride thing for him.
Then the next day we struggled with several other pictures because several of them had two hooks in the back which made measuring for a Sweetie a nightmare. He just kept getting admittingly confused. He’s a level/measuring tape kind of guy and I have an amazing …. One of my very few… abilities to find the center on a wall just by eyeing it. Most of the time I’m dead on which always impresses him.
After fussing around trying to hang pictures his was and confusing Sweetie more, I just dead eyed it and stuck the nails in the wall always find I got center. It the only way I’ve ever hung anything, but in the past we would do things like that his way…after all he is an engineer!
I still have boxes piled high in my office, but the rest of the house is looking good. Still have trouble remembering where I put things, but I’m getting better at it. We plan to go to Sams today as I’m out of chicken. Then we’ll come home and if out mind is clear will work on hanging the two pictures which we have left. Both have been bears to hang in the past. One simply because it’s a very large photo of the mountains near our other home which was put on a very large piece of wood… long story. It’s heavy and takes a special way to hang it.
The other is also a large picture …3’x3’…. Which also requires 2 separate hooks. Then what is left to hang is the most difficult of all. Sweetie gave me a set of three butterfly clear boxes which he had designs especially for me. When hung as a display the butterflies, which are real and mounted… look like they have all taken off in flight. The boxes are 2’x3’ and need to be spaced out, not connected, on the wall so there’s a lot of measuring required to get it right.
I wish I had Harriet’s DD as I am sure she has a equation and method on how to do this.
Thankfully Sweetie and I manage to laugh through all of this, but it sure does task one’s brain.
After a much needed mental break we are headed to the beach tomorrow. That always allows us to reset ourselves and I am looking forward to it.
Harrriet … that was terrible to hear about your relatives home. I thought kids too when I read it. Perhaps if that is true, as those responsible become older and look back at what they did, they will feel some remorse. One can only hope.
Thinking of Lucylee’s husband as well today.
Gotta run…waving to y’all.

Re: Tuesday Timing
My day was going so well......
until......
the school principal called.
DD10 had another anger meltdown in class.
I spent an hour in her office talking through all viable solutions. We must find DD10 some anger management skills quickly!
DD10 is home from school for the rest of the day.
I'm feeling defeated and clueless. I need to take some time to dust myself off and get a plan.

Have her learn. Said she did not know how to sharpen lawn mower blade, I remembered there is a guy at the hardware store
they send stuff out to be sharpened. H. used to take ot to work & do it or have it done.
Picked up & swiffered the kit. & dining room floors.

Re: Tuesday Timing
I've spent countless minutes on the phone with A T T. Dh's phone completely died this morning. He's at the store and has been for over 2 hours. First they had to walk me through getting a whole newish plan. Then it was trying to get into his email account. We finally gave that up and I guess I have to (at some point) go to the Apple store and straighten out the passwords, etc. Meantime dh does have a new phone. Not sure if I'll wait till I get north or go here. Either way I have to make an appointment and I think the one here might be a whole lot closer. Going to look at map for up home.
I've managed to get 80 minutes of steps in on my cycle and have been working on our bedroom as my focus. L&&ted each space on a card and doing one at a time. Got the dishwasher emptied and had lunch. Back to the 'drawing board' or the bedroom as the case may be.

Re: Tuesday Timing
Reading and cheering the accomplishments being made!
DH brought lunch home for everyone. We were supposed to have Elderberry luncheon today but DD10 episode made that not possible.
I've made several phone calls looking for a therapist for DD10. The soonest I can find is the end of June.
I have made a request for the director of one place to review our situation and m-a-y-b-e have a quicker solution.
