DS13 boss was taken to hospital (I don't know why) so DS13 called DH and asked if he would take him to get the backhoe tire fixed. I cautioned DH about getting overheated again. Sometimes I feel it would be just as effective to talk to a fence post.
DD10 is "in charge" of the rabbits and chickens at the farm for the next 3 days. Rachel is driving to Arizona to visit her first grandchild for a day. One day drive there...one day to visit...one day to drive back. Rachael has a community of volunteers that are needed so she can make this quick trip. It takes many people to do all the normal things she does daily. Did I tell you that Rachels quadriplegic son just graduated college with dual degrees? She takes care of him 24/7 and is beyond thrilled by his dedication. He can't sit up for extended periods of time, so he lays in bed and types his assignments one keystroke at a time using the knuckle of his right thumb and the tip of his left pinkie finger that sticks out. I am awed at his persistence and ability to overcome. He is now applying for law school. ANYway....I'm taking DD10 to do her chores at the farm. **Poof**

Not much to report here -and BTW, Blessed, I loved your rhyme! I have gotten lots of little odds 'n ends done. I just haven't felt very energetic today.
It was nearly 1am by the time dd got home from her 'fun job' in Tampa last night. OT games in playoffs tend to be pretty late. So on to game 7 tomorrow.
Had promised dh I wouldn't say anything until tomorrow's meeting at the campground. Seems that after 25 years they're finally putting in a swimming pool. Up to now it's just been the pond with usual safety measures. Not sure if people are going to like it or not. We shall see -won't matter -evidently the new owners want it. Keep seeing more and more rules however.

Store run done.
Got a gate for the back yard.
Some herbs to plant.
Had lunch with a gf.
Got to go food for the next few days so I do not have to cook when painting the basemet.
Got lawn mower & jeep fuel.
Hand sawed half sheet of plywood now it fits in trailer and the truck.

Blessed…
I saw the blue print and thought it was Harriet. Obviously I hadn’t had my coffee yet
I ended up hanging the butterflies. Drew a diagram on the wall with pencil and measured, measured and measured again. It’s three plexiglass boxes with butterflies mounted in them. They are about 20”x18” and are stacked. The bottom box gets hung horizontally and the other two are side by side on top of it. The two top boxes get hung vertically and the hanging holes are NOT the same on each box.
Bottom box is easy peasy to hang. Find the middle of the wall and mail the middle of the picture there. The top boxes are what are difficult because none of the holes are in the same place. Measured the first box, got everything dead on and leveled only to find Sweetie had given me the wrong box. Ugh!
All the boxes are spaced 2 1/2 inches apart. Lots of fractions to add and subtract. Drew the design on the wall, spaced everything out according to the diagram I designed and thanked my angles it was perfect.
Then I made Sweetie hand my utility holder for my mops and such in a closet and now my laundry room is looking much better. Struck while the iron, or drill in this case, was hot and had Sweetie hang a wooden coat hanger out by my pool for wet towels. That meant drilling through concrete. And then had Sweetie hang one more of my big pictures after that.
Now I’m folding laundry while listen to thunder roll above me. Tomorrow more boxes… I’m ready to getter’ done.

just a quick hi -HI!
d rose - I find that a compliment!!!!! to be mistaken for our dear harriet is wonderful!
yay on your work!
hi d Nancy - so happy you got so much work done!
hello d dee! yay on getting those odd's and end's done! I had that lack of energy yesterday - as my dh says - days like that happen!
I am so glad your dd had fun!
I hope the meeting goes well
hello d everyone.
I washed the children's kitchen set and the good will no longer takes those items - it's a shame because it's in beautiful shape. dh will try dropping it off at another donation center or maybe I can put it on fb market place. I will put it out at the curb on Thursday if I can't get rid of it. If it doesn't get picked up then I will just have to toss it.
I need to move the hose again.
waving at all of you!!!

My next right thing was taking out trash plus other outdoor clean up.
I wanted to do our sheets in the laundry but time is perhaps passing by faster than I could get everything dry.
LadyM really accomplished a lot today in proactive medical stuff.
Yes, inspiring that the young man continued his studies through the physical difficulties.
HRH's mother came by briefly to bring a photo and complimented the house, just at a glance, frustrated that she did not have her mask. I tried to give her an impatiens I'd grown into a very nice potted plant by now, but she didn't take it. She insists she kills everything.

I put a natural weed-killer recipe in the Outdoor Thread. It's not new at all, been on the net a while. But I thought it might be interesting if anyone wondered about experience with it.

Hi! I really enjoyed the poetry today. We do have some creative talented ladies here.
Yesterday Sunny made a yummy french toast casserole for breakfast. We had leftovers for breakfast today. I could get used to this!
Quick trip out to buy work shorts for DH, a super short time in the library on the way to the pharmacy. Got a few things there. At the thrift where I got the shorts I found a mirror in a frame. At home I managed to get it fastened to the wall.
Speaking of plants, I must somehow keep the new plants we got for mother's day alive. They are anthurium with the red "flowers" and they are presently in pretty little white pots but we think these get BIG! This should be interesting.
LadyM, hope all tests come out grand. Congrats for dd10
Blessed, I agree, your landscaping is amazing.

Water main broke here water was off a while.
Then had to flush that out of the pipes.
Mopped floors.
Laundry is nearing the end of that cycle so I can put it in the dryer before class.
