Baby stepping my way through the day.

** I made the drive to retrieve Micro from the groomer. He doesn't look like the same dog. They are exceptionally good at what they do.
** I ate my OMAD and enjoyed every bite.
** The lawn mower should be delivered at any moment. The dealership owner picks up his kids from the same school that DD10 attends. He is supposed to deliver the mower on his way to get his kids. As soon as the mower arrives, I will leave to get DD10.
** DH is with his DMom. He is taking her to chiropractor appt this afternoon and then refilling her weekly medication containers.

I need to get the kitten to the vet. I feel bad that so much was already scheduled to happen today, so the kitten care has been delayed. Before I call to make vet appt I need to find the kitten. He/she is feral and hides in the shop. I'll ask DD10 to help me find the kitten when she gets home from school.

Oh, dear. The cousin, it turned out, may have been about to bring her ddad over here for a visit.

But he went into the yard at first, and somehow went down. No way to know if he fell first or if the hip broke first and he fell down. But he has a broken hip and ya'll know the drill. :( They will x-ray every which way and then operate tomorrow, hope for the best. He's so uncomfortable, unhappy.

He is just the kindest man. (Well, he has a reputation of being tough on his own kids, but everyone else says he's so kind. Certainly, he's so important in my heart, and in dd23's.)

The week:
We're going into 3 days of difficult mornings in which dd42 will need to leave with some assortment of boys each morning prior to 7:00 am.

LadyM, gloves, gloves. I don't think the cage is a bad thing for a feral kitten, even if you must keep her/him in there a lot. Right now the biggest danger to kitten is not getting care. Vet could advise, but you might be able to ask for help from an association in your area who would acknowledge you as fostering a feral cat and help with bills? Don't know - may be a pipe dream if they are already stretched thin.

Harriet - is that your uncle who broke his hip? I'm sorry that it happened to him.

I am so low on steps today that it is discouraging. I have been busy, but it hasn't resulted in as many steps as I hoped. I need 3.5k more steps today to meet my goal.

I've got DD10 in the shower washing her hair. DS13 is mowing the yard. He mows for his boss using a 72" mower so our 42" fills like a baby mower to him.

I started reading a book today and managed to get through the first 2 chapters.

This is HRH's family. I have no living uncles or aunts. He has two uncles, one aunt.

I need to say more about this in J and C.

Washed up dishes, ready for bed early to get ready for a very early set of days.
