Home from a couple hours spent at the farm. DD11 was holding and loving on an assortment of baby animals the whole time. There is something about snuggling a baby that makes the cares of the world fade away and fills the senses with contentment and joy.
I agree about Lack of prior planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
I was willing to jump through hoops to get DS13 ready and packed for camp because I have been on a campaign for him to be less of a workaholic and be more kid activity focused. If I wasn't constantly reminded him to be a kid, then DS13 would willingly work 80 hours a week. I reminded DS13 there are only a couple more summers for him to attend youth camp and then it will be all be over. When he is old, he won't remember if he worked this week, but he will remember the camp experience. IMHO, these youthful experiences and memories are more important to make than working.

Tomorrow is DD11 appt with therapist. I need to GMAT for this appointment so hopefully they can dive into the anger issue.
** Find the kid anger management workbooks that DD11 read and did worksheet assignments.
** Write an outline of facts that lead to DD10 being suspended from school 3 times (after receiving Student of the Month award!)
** Read and fill out the 18 pages (!!) the therapist office mailed to us. It needs to be turned in at the first appointment.

Nancy - BWTG! You are so consistent in getting things done.
We are home from evening church services. It has a smaller attendance (50 people?) but might be my favorite of all the services. It doesn't have the higher energy that comes with contemporary service, but it does have familiar traditional type songs that I've sung for 60+ decades.
It feels strange to not have Mr ODD ADHD OCD here. DD11 is the opposite of DS13. She is quiet, calm, and rarely needs my attention.
I'm going to do today's assignment in nutritional class.

I need inspiration for
(1) accepting the past and what I can’t change, making peace within my heart and dealing with grief
And
(2) getting back on track with routines and better habits.
