Thinking of Mr. Harmony today and hope he feels like he's healing, although maybe slowly.

Feel better, Twins'. And also, be ordinary.

Joined blessed in spiffing kitty potty today. (Do you ever feel as though your cat(s) are watching critically on this chore? Tobias observes, as though to say, "about time".)

Cha, cha, cha, Nancy!

I've been grateful for our site and being able to go back and read what I said about some cooking. Found, I think, a pretty good substitute for a written recipe I had for a rice skillet dinner. Both HRH and I saw the written page the other day and now neither of us can find it. (just a "what all did I put in there" post rather than an exact recipe, which I don't need anyway.)

Also, after letting dd borrow my Straight Up Food cookbook, I was able to go to the post I'd linked to it here and read including color photo. Very helpful.

So today made Tu-No Salad and am sitting here now with a sandwich of that and romaine lettuce on Dave's bread. The rest went into an attractive container in the fridge, labeled. I'm sure these hot days are the start of my wanting a cool sandwich often.

Since the food processor is out of the cabinet, I may make shredded carrot-and-squash later. I enjoy that with veggie mayo mixed in, on this same expensive-ish bread, which I don't want to waste. I slice cucumber lengthwise to add to that. I do have an avocado I could try slicing for that sandwich, but it seems unripe yet.

I have organic liquid fertilizer arriving today. Hoping to mix and use that this afternoon. Unfortunately, I don't have one of those containers that affixes to a hose to do it, so this will be an exercise in carrying the watering can over and over. I'm not sure those mix just right anyway.

Regarding Cleaning Focus
lucylee, I did post the renewal of the Cleaning Focus Calendar for 2022 at first of year and I'm glad you've used it (so have I), but we hadn't had any interest in so long that I stopped posting the individual threads and hadn't heard anything since March '21.

Just in the last little while, I've been aware of some interest in resuming. And, after all, one of the main conversations in our village is the fact that we clean our homes and try to be open to helpful strategies about it.

I could try to place a more obvious forum higher, nearer to, say, Health and Fitness and other more well-traveled forums, if that would help keep the topic more active and helpful. I have never placed a forum, so I can't be sure I'm capable.

Dee may have an opinion, and so might others who used to use that space or calendar frequently.

Hi Sunny!

I had an appointment with the denturist today and she said I was healing really well. The bruises are starting to fade. As long as I wear a mask in public, they can't be seen, so nobody is staring at my bruises an asking if I'm okay. My next appointment is next Monday to have soft liners put into the dentures.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
