Waving to everyone. Blessed loved the Winnie the Pooh opening! So cute.

Thinking of ladyM's DGS. Also belated bday wishes to Elizabeth. Hope all is well with her and she comes back to us sometime.

We had a lovely time at the beach last evening. I've never been out there that late but we went to see the sunset and it was beautiful. On Monday we went to a tourist-y place south of us and walked around for several hours. Making the best of my last week with dsis. My stepmil D is joining us at the restaurant. Haven't seen her for a while.

Guess I should do something around here...

My day didn’t go as planned. After I returned from the gym I received a phone call from my moms care center. She fell yesterday afternoon but they thought she was alright. She complained her hip hurt this morning… it was bruised.. so they x-rayed it. She either cracked or broke her hip.

She is now in the hospital where they were going to re x-rayed her. However when my brother spoke with the hospital, they told him she was out of pain and sleeping. We’ll know more later this afternoon or tonight.

My mom was planning to return to her condo tomorrow. We had everything set up including her live in care taker. Now we’re back to square one. My brother and I both believe my mom is going to give up after this and we are prepared for it the best we can. My moms a tough cookie though so you never know with her… just depends if she wants to carry on or go visit her best friend and her dad who she misses dearly and head for the Heavenly Gates

My mom had a near death experience when she was 16… and saw all the beautiful and peaceful heavens. She met very loving and kind people who told her it wasn’t her time year and sent her back to her hospital bed. When she woke up she told me she was pissed… her word and she never swears … to find out she was still here. Hence my mom has never feared death, so what ever she decides to do I’m ok with it and so is my brother.

It's 102F here right now. No wind. No rain. Just a hot day. I've been inside enjoying the air conditioning.

I’m just in a big donwanna mood. Just realized I’ve spent the last 4 days with at least one dgrand underfoot. I love them more than life, but OTOH, I believe I have earned a slow day. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.

(Ramblin'), I am so sorry your dmother's hip injury was misdiagnosed at first, and that she even fell at all. I feel a kinship with your dmother because my late dh had a childhood illness like hers though much younger. She has had such a long and good life. I don't want to think about you losing her but I'm sure you are comforted to know that she would have no fear. I am praying for her, for you and your dbrother.

HRH had a better report on the "bad" eye, in that he did better on the eye test. Still no peripheral change at all so that he is always worried about what's happening to his right. You can walk up and surprise him by accident if you happen to be to his right and things around are noisy. But now he was tested at 20/80, and in fact this is the first time they told him numerals at all. Dr read off 20/70 later, so we were confused. (HRH thinks the whole test may have been a fluke but they say no, he really was better.) His pressures were good at 14 and 17, but of course he is on a drop for that and we have no way of knowing how dependent he is on the drop until next doctor may consider a change in meds next month.

Yes, super hot.
dd had to leave work early and my personal opinion is the heat. She works between an air-conditioned, swank gallery and a sweltering huge back warehouse-type area. She was trying to do packaging in the back and come out when gallery staff needed her, back and forth, and she got sick. Air quality today is dismal. I have plants wilting with their "feet" wet.

Dd says everyone watch out. A meeting of 20-something co-workers from various depts on the 10th has now reached 7 current cases of Covid among those in attendance. It was on her son's bday and she already had the day off so was not there. She had questioned if it was good for "her guys" to go to a big meeting though (she has all men under her and is protective) but was reassured it would be in a larger size, well-ventilated conference room. Somehow it was moved to a smaller one and people were close. Now one of her guys is sick.

Next meeting by zoom and she was called in to give opinion. They may have been sorry. yipes. They weren't going to send blanket emails informing all staff  so she wrote the email for them during the meeting, citing guidelines that cited guidelines.

blessed your opening was inspired.

Gutter cleaning is a project. Front went well. Back one is holding water must be plugged.
Remember lh put a hose down it one year to unplug it.
Might try that only I will try pushing it up from the ground hose is flexible.
I have 3/4 th of the gutters de-seeded so I am making progress.

Then un plugging them, I am cleaning up as I go put 1/4 sheets of plywood for clean out material to go on
made for easier yard cleanup.
The best tool was the right sized stick.
Went back and checked it again did not have to use the hose. Got it unplugged! Wa hoo!
☆☆☆☆☆ Giving myself 5 stars. I am on my 3rd outfit today! ;)

I might mow tomorrow Before weekend rain!
Got the hoses rolled up this evening.
I have cleaned off the patio and put the chairs etc. back on it.
