((Mystery)), I am dismayed. Alas.
Find bits, make nostalgic items.

lucylee, it's good to have someone monitoring any injury as it heals, to quantify/qualify how well or poorly it's doing. Hope she heals quickly.

Twins' I guess you thought of that potential symptom reason well before I did. Was going to say it was a "maybe" in my mind. Feel better. I'm sure the heat/season makes that worse so give yourself a break.

bittersweet
:!: , it's cool to hang out with you. 8-) Several of us have also been posting about garden improvement, in PWYC and in the Outdoor thread on down the list of forums here in a thread Lynlee started.

"Livin' is easy"
or not, HRH and I wore ourselves out this a.m. He had a dr's appt and right after we did in-person grocery shopping, which we would not have done if we'd known it would be so crowded. He wanted to park in shade when we got home, which was also a make-work option that saw us carrying heavy things across a lot of desert. (I know it's not really desert but it sure was at that moment.)

Booster shots were had by all 4 of Dd42's boys, no problems reported. All is well. The nurse had a visible chest scar and youngest wanted an explanation before he was comfortable (yes, it was just that embarrassing - older brothers mortified). She was ready for pediatric work, though, and announced matter-of-factly, "I'm a SuperHero". And that was acceptable.

hello d harriet! that heat makes our areas feel like a desert!!! I love the nurse said she was a super hero!

hi d harmony - sometimes we need more rest than work!!! especially with the heat. Looking at what you worked on even if feeling slow, is amazing! well done!

hi d Lucy. frequent checks are a good think - it helps me feel motivated when I am feeling the least productive! the heat is getting to everyone. the recliner is probably calling you to rest!
(((your sweet grand daughter and her poor thumb)))
by the way - you always inspire me! Best personality ever!

hi d mystery I am so sorry they had to take down your tree!!! It is sad when that happens; even when you know it's the right thing. have fun with task bingo!!! lots of fun!

hello d twins! thinking of you. sending healing thoughts your way!

hello d dee happy you and he are staying home and just being Mr. and Mrs. Dee. oh my - so hot inside! do you have any bags of ice/cooler and a fan? I find that is wonderful to sit in front of.

hi d harmony! hope you get your sense of peace back very soon. my dh's moods affect me as well. I find myself having to step away from dh when he is in that mode. I can't make him happy - he has to find it. (my dh feels better when he talks to old work friends but he generally tends to see the world negatively. He is more a worst scenario type of person. I love when he is positive. It makes my world easier.

d Cathy - happy birthday to your dh

d lady hello

I can't go back any further so I don't know if I am missing anyone! but hello
it is always a joy to be here with you!

DD11 has an earache today. The doctor just checked her ears last night and they were fine. ARGH! I had some ear meds on hand from the last earache so I'm treating her with those. Also OTC cold meds to reduce mucous. She has started coughing so I will give her OTC meds for that. And the prescription steroids. We are staying home from church tonight out of an abundance of caution. No one is sick except DD11 but who knows the contagious period. Not me!

I'm pulling my recliner up next to LucyLee recliner and relaxing with her this afternoon. :)

I weeded around the plant cage and planted onions in the spot I dug out herbs for them early last week.
Froze up the left overs and cleaned up the kitchen in an attempt to do an evening routine.

Home from taking DS13 driving in the country and making a stop at grocery store. We were almost out of electrolyte drinks and that is what keeps DS13 hydrated while he is working in the heat.

We also loaded up the VBS supplies and delivered them to the church kitchen.

DGS15 sent me a map of his plans to ride bike from his home to our home. 320 miles. If there were bike paths it wouldn't sound so crazy to me. But he would be riding on the Interstate with vehicles going 75+mph just feet away from him. I hope he isn't serious.

LadyM, I don't think you can ride a bike on Interstates. I think Highway Patrol would say no to that, but he could probably follow the interstate in a general way on sideroads. Sounds like an autumn trip to me, not a summer one. Bike repair kit must go along. Not much room to pack anything. Fumes to breathe. Oh, the adventurousness of youth.

I've put in another evening of fighting back the mystery poison vine. Info online is contradictory, but results of touching it are not.

We lost our email again. This is getting ridiculous. HRH is just about fed up with the problem (and the people you get on the phone to help you). We've only had these same addresses and same provider for - well, pretty much the life of internet emailing!

The two older boys did have headaches today but no big deal. They have all done well.

I have not eaten well today, I think because of traveling out early and staying long. Tomorrow will need to be a better day.

Maybe I should change my name to Late-night Lucy. :)

Sometime after 9:00 pm, i finally decided to start a load of laundry AND I dusted the den and dining room.

Tomorrow is another day.
