Well, the Afib isn't under control yet and they won't discharge him until it is. That's why the Dr thinks it's very optimistic to think he might be discharged tomorrow, Blessed. I'm sure the heat of last week, etc played a huge part in all this. Think he thought he was probably drinking enough -obviously not. Think this is the 1st time he's ever had a UTI and then that coupled with AFib is no laughing matter for sure. Next is to see what his cardiologist says about putting him on blood thinner. I'm pretty sure cardiologist has visiting privileges at this hospital.

I should say that dh's "troponin" levels have continued to rise. Though this is often a marker for Myacardial Infraction, it's not necessarily the only cause. I guess infections can also cause this. Know the Dr said they didn't feel the need to send dh for an angiogram. Not sure if they do that at this particular hospital or the other hospital where cardiologist does his angiograms. Guess I will learn more as the hours go on.

(((Dee)))

Well, I had an embarrassingly, totally lazy day… except for chauffeuring dgrands to/from church, and spending over 2 hours on phone with ds— he was driving home from MS — talking to dh and me on speakerphone.
BUT — FINALLY —
— finishing laundry
— took care of 3 online orders
— msg to 2 of dgs’ teachers to get their notes for his Oh the Places You Will Go book
— went to drug store
— got take-out for supper
— about to start ironing

Late-Night Lucy… that’s me.
Tomorrow is another day.

I've been busy this late night too, Lucylee.

Thinking of Dee and DH. My goodness.

I met DFriend S. for lunch today to celebrate her birthday which was Sunday. Incidentally, Sunny, she says thank you for the card and was very surprised. She asked for your phone number so you might get a message if she remembers.
I was early to meet her so stopped at a nearby store which was having a shoe sale. No luck again. Boo.

Ran some errands on the way home, another bunch of groceries, and I dropped off donations. Went into that shop to look for more work shorts for DH. Last time I was there I got 3 or 4 really nice pairs, all brand new and I must have gotten all they had in that size because there were no more. There was 1 more pair that was pretty decent and just needs one belt loop reattached. At the next store I found a sale and got 2 more pairs. Would be nice if DH would appreciate my efforts....

When I got home I was so pooped I couldn't even get out of my chair. But I had brought chicken home for dinner and didn't have to cook. Later, my evening routine took me twice as long because I did some extras. Cleaned a bathroom, a lot of kitchen work too. This morning before I left I got 1 LOL done but need to fold that up; I ironed about 6 things, and had my QT. It was a full day.

(hugs) and prayers for Dee and DH.

Puttered around today. Went to see lawyer friend about kids' custodial accounts. He gave some advice but said this is a common complaint but not easy to fix. Then (after I had paid him for his time) we spent a good while shooting the breeze. I guess he did not have much going on today. He mainly does taxes and estates, and it's not tax season.

Tried to finish paying medical bills but was thwarted by one of DC's. We tried to pay it yesterday, but while one part of the website said she owed the balance, the part where you actually paid said she had no balance. We tried calling the billing office, but they were apparently already closed for the day at 4. So I tried calling the billing office again today. I was on hold for a good while before a recording told me I could leave a message without losing my place in line, so I did that, only to be told after leaving the message that someone would be back with me within 24 hours. Yeah, that hasn't happened. Seriously, what do I have to do to get you to take my money?

Got some more payroll done. I have two sections almost done. On the other hand, there are two sections I haven't even touched.

Other than that, I haven't got much done today. Still, it's bedtime, and I'm not going to stay up all night.
