Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
Thinking about Dee's dh today and Dee and family and hoping he gets stabilized and home when he's ready.
And thinking about my day and the weekend!

Also thinking about whether to walk today. I have a blister on my toe and it was hurting last night! I don't want to get it inflamed, and I'm wanting to get a pedicure next week. (Ah, just found that my Chaco sandals clear it.) So I'll walk. Heading out. (Before I got out the door, I dropped my phone in the toilet. I think it's okay, but it's sitting in rice to dry it off. was only a second. And toilet was clean, it was before I sat.

Re: Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
Thinking Thursday.
Father's day meal last night was pleasant not windy not too hot and no one was drinking! Every one got along.
I slept in my new space print pj's!
I had to take out the pockets and put some others on the back like jeans, side pocket lessons needed you tube here I come.
I had my machine threaded wrong so the last bit sewing the elastic together too a while for me to figure that out.
Mowing day today for me. I got it ready filled the mower rolled up hoses and moved the lawn furniture for my stretching.
Neighbor gal has an electric mower but it has a very narrow swath.
Sipping coffee.
I have a dress cut out to seam up a simple one shift type to do next.
Bfast *
Waving to all!

Good morning, Twins'. Thank you for making sure we understood about the telecommunications concerns.
Happy to hear Nancy enjoyed her pajama making success and already has a dress cut out. There's no such thing as too much fun. Well, not sewing fun, anyway.
Dee, Brit Box is a subscription to BBC offerings of television shows. To tell you the truth, I don't yet know everything that's on there. I see there are enough mysteries to last for a long time, ranging from the "cozy" ones like Rosemary and Thyme to the tough types like Midsommer. My thinking right now is that I hardly have enough time to give those. It will also be a quick way to some comedy half-hours for lunchtime breaks.
Thinking of Mr. DeeClutter.
I have to make a DPCall. And deal with the absence of a regular monthly bill that didn't arrive.
Also have an appt later in the afternoon - I think probably the most trouble from that will be driving home into the commuter time.

Morning…
I’m in recovery mode from yesterdays migraine… so I’m going to be slow today. No gym but I’ll get my steps in on my gazelle later today.
Have laundry to do and I need to assemble the over the commode shelving system I ordered.
Thinking of Dee and her DH as well.
Waving to y’all… off to take my shower and try to get my day started.

Re: Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
Good Morning!
I was up without an alarm at 6am ready to get started on the day. Routines #1, 2, 3 and 5 are completed. I have woken the kids and have them start on their day. DH has volunteered to do some errands for me today so that gives me 2 extra hours. hum....does that mean today has 26 hours instead of 24? lol
Today is VBS day #4. We are past the midpoint and getting into a groove. It isn't quite as daunting. Or maybe I am becoming numb to being overwhelmed and over stimulated? I told DH this morning that I hope we never take our church family for granted. We have an unbelievably organized, kind, and energetic children's director that plans everything. There are 53 VBS volunteers (adults & teens) giving many hours of service this week. It is a huge amount of effort. I am thankful the kids are growing up with these experiences and surrounded by mentors.

Good morning!
Thinking also of Dee and her DH. May there be good news -- soon!
After a couple of days of task bingo, I'm trying to work my cards today. I'm on #6 of 24. I especially have to get some laundry done before it gets too hot -- I've got a load in the wash that will surely mildew if left too long.
I think I am in need of some caffeine. Which sort becomes the question.
I hope Twins' walk went well, and the phone was OK.
I like the idea of space print pj's, Nancy!
Good luck with today's business, Harriet!
Hope the migraine stays banished, Rose.
Wow! 53 VBS volunteers, LadyM?! That's amazing.
Next up is to tidy the bathroom, get that laundry going, and work on payroll. See you later, I hope!

Re: Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
I walked three laps. I'm not feelin' it this morning - I'm achy. Dmassage therapist cancelled my appt today because he's had COVID and is still feelin' it.
I'm upstairs at my desk, probably getting even more achy.
Need to make a couple of DPCs today.
Update: made both, need to make another DPC now. Will do later.
Phone seems okay. I took it out of the rice. There was only a little bit of water inside the case.

Re: Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
I "thought" I would do errands but my stomach is telling me no.
I had a binge yesterday evening - I should know better-it's an uncontrollable thing that happens - I need to take myself out of the situation instead staying near the kitchen etc. . But at least the binge ended fast.
As it will rain tomorrow, I might as well stay home and work outside. I will run one errand to get plant food and compost as my lovely flower bed soil has gone really hard.
hi d twins thank you for starting us - ouch - hope your toe feels better! yes a clean bathroom - priceless
d Nancy how nice that the dinner was wonderful!!!
how fun- space pj's
happy mowing day! it's amazing how fast that came around (at least for me
)
have fun with the dress sewing.
hi d harriet my d brother has been having the same trouble in getting mail for one company bill (for my mom). hope you have a good appointment. May the rush hour fairies decide not to show up today so that your ride home is filled with ease.
hi d rose thrilled that your migraine left. sometimes the the days after a migraine makes the body feel like it has been through a marathon. (lol if I had ever ran a marathon).
d dee - thinking of you and your dh!
waving at d mystery!

Re: Thursday's Thoughts PWYC
Hello everybody. I'm taking a break right now. I started my washing machine early and did not finish my QT. Need to go do that, I got started doing things around here and didn't get back.
You know how we start doing on thing and it grows and grows and grows into a big job...well that's my day today. Hosed off the back porch...just the area by the door and the drying rack because we were dragging dead grass into the bathroom and through the house. Well, you know - the hose was there, the dirt was everywhere, so I cleaned the WHOLE porch, furniture and all. Inside the mats needed shook out and then vacuumed that room to get all the grass. I ended up vacuuming half the house. The part that needed it.
So that was done and I looked around...cleaned rest of bathroom, wiped floor, commode, counter yeah did it all. PUPA in the kitchen. Walk out to the mailbox with the envelope. LOL hung up on my clean porch. Yesterday's LOL folded and put away. I'm having trouble keeping up with laundry these days.
Ok, I guess I'll go sit down to a little QT. I feel as if I need it.
Thinking of Dee, hoping for some good news soon. Hello Twins, Blessed, Harriet, Nancy, Mystery. Hi Lady M. I helped a couple years at VBS. What a lot of energy those kids have! Hello Ramblin' feel better. We had a hard thunderstorm a couple days ago. I sent a video to Sunny so she'd see what she was missing!
