Not sure if I'm 'enjoying' or not. Think worry over dh is clouding my weekend. For as little as he's eaten he's gained over 6# in the last couple of days or so. He's noticing his ankles swelling a whole lot more. Sure it's a result of the Afib. He'll see his GP Tuesday morning. We'll see what he says and whether we need to talk with his cardiologist this week. I do know he's feeling absolutely 'whipped'. Too much socializing for one thing and I'm noticing how short of breath he is.

hi d dee. I am sure that worrying about him is taking over your weekend. praying his water retention goes back to normal today. praying he starts feeling better soon!!! it's hard to see him feeling wiped out! praying for him!!!

CI - had a low. I so badly wanted to crawl back in beck and pull the covers over my head.
Had to change sheets so I took em off to prevent going back to bed.
We had severe storms in the nite, more in the forecast today.
Giving my self permission to have a nap later.
I have been teary today.

First thing this morning dh complained that he was "up all night" so I pointed out to him that he slept for most of the day yesterday. From the time we came home from going out for breakfast, he went to "stretch out" on the bed. He had a deep sleep for at least 2 hours. Got up and had lunch. Went back to lay on top of the bed and he was still sleeping a couple of hours later when I went to knitting. Came home from knitting and he was sitting at his computer sleeping. I made supper. As soon as we ate, he went back to his computer and fell asleep while the news was on and at some point got up and went into the bedroom. I went to bed at 10. He was still sleeping.

Now he's sleeping in front of his computer again.

We did go to W mart, but as I was on the way to the pet food area he asked how much longer we were going to be because it was too much walking. We had been in there for probably less than 10 minutes. I told him to go to the truck and I would be out in a few minutes. All I got was yogurt, sausages, potato salad and canned cat food.

d Nancy, I hope your sugars even out today - it's so hard to move when that happens! it does make you feel teary eyed. so much love to you!!!

I hope he feels better! he must be fighting something. His body is telling him to rest! feel better Mr. Cathy!

I had to have a talk with dh re: complaining about work not being done or passive aggressive comments. He gets this way if I don't say anything. it's gotten worse again. I have a hard time as I'm working really hard. I don't mind him just doing his piddling for himself, as long as, he doesn't say negative things. (had the talk which was a good thing- he told me he has been very depressed because he noticed he is moving slower and sits a lot and is frustrated-he really misses working and doesn't know how to fill his time). even small. but he feels what he feels. He also wants me to take him places so I will add that more into the week.

it's almost 11:30 am and I haven't done anything.
1. look for trash
2. set up fence so dogs don't go in the front.
3. water plants and water animals

Dee, I'm glad dh seeing his doc on Tuesday. Can't come soon enough, can it?

I'm worn out from the evening with kids and cousins last night, but we had a great time. I'm working at trying to keep today quiet. Dh is already asking about going to World Market today for more cereal bowls and I just want to stay home and have a quiet day.

On top of that, I'm facing my kitchen coming apart this week. Dfriend M (of M and S) is also redoing her kitchen and she sold her cabinets, which is what we're hoping to do. She is coming over later to help me take photos of the cabinets and put on Facebook Market to sell. So tomorrow I need to ck with builder on timing this week too.

Our favorite ambulance person has been here twice. First time about 10:30 he detected fluid on dh's lungs. Just came again and it's increasing. So dd is on her way taking dh back to the hospital. He's gained 6# since Friday and his ankles are very swollen -more than ever. He also admitted to some chest pressure when he's moving about. And also I'm noticing shortness of breath. I'd go post in J&C but guess I just did here.

Oh my, Dee. I'm so sorry, glad that you're getting him looked at sooner. Better not to wait.

Dh and I talked about emptying the kitchen and he's going to Tar-jay for some storage bins. Think we can move the ones in the garage that I use for seasonal stuff upstairs for now and have room on shelves there for temp kitchen storage. Of course, he thinks that stuff should be upstairs in the storage room anyway and I want it in the garage because I use it. Storage wars coming up. Focus now needs to be on kitchen and I told him I'd consider permanent upstairs for that stuff. But it's unheated and uninsulated up there.

hello today is a slow moving, 10 minute at a time, day and I am enjoying it.
dh offered to clean the cat litter - what a huge help
I am thinking he needs to talk more about his feelings and then he won't be so much into his head.
