Dh is home again. Dr was 'borderline' deciding whether to keep him or let him come home. He's here with instructions to extra fluid pill tomorrow morning. He'll see his GP Tuesday morning. He does feel some better but still has that awful cough. Hoping the fluid retention begins to abate. Wow I can't believe that ablation has been 5 years, Lucylee! Time does fly.

Had a crying jag.
Thunder and fireworks at the same time.
A year to remember.
The dog jerked the leash hard I dropped it she ran to the door.
I am okay just stressed I guess.
Okay back to my knitting that helps.

Dee, I'm glad he's home with you. Hoping this improvement continues.

Thunder and fireworks at the same time.

The same here. The granddog startled badly when I was walking her and fireworks went off. Worse than Ol' Duke on the Beverly Hillbillies intro when Jed shoots. Much worse. You can't tell me this happens to dogs just because they once heard a gunshot or something like that. This pup is too young to have had any experience at all with that - too young to have experienced any fireworks before. She's having a terrible time with it inside and outside, happening when her "regular" people are away. If dd42 had known there would be this reaction, she'd have probably gotten one of those dog wraps/snuggles mentioned here before.

I stayed over there twice today. Dd23 has the next two days off, so won't really need me again.

Damage to my flowers from an awful downpour yesterday/last night. Hoping I can do some staking tomorrow to help.

Dstepson stopped by bringing a watermelon, which made HRH very happy. He stayed a while I think - I had to go to dd's.
