I thought I'd have some time today but remembered I need to go to the grocery store.

Oy vey. I hear a discussion about who "talks to her."

Back and wasn't a hard decision. But they're drilling now so I'm going on to the grocery. I'll get that done and see what time I can carve out.

I've put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher and washed most of the large pots and pans. The sharp knives with wooden handles have also been washed. There are a bunch of other large utensils in the sink along with hot, bubbly water.

Tried to start the lawnmower and it wouldn't start. I walked away. When I go back out I will check the level of the gas. That's most likely what it is.

Supper will be ground beef fried with onions. Dh wants macaroni and cheese from a box to go with the BBQed corn on the cob and zucchini.

I'm up, s2s, meds, breakfast, bed made, ice made, lists done, and I guess most if not all my early routines.

Now it's on to getting things packed for tomorrow. Think maybe I'll do a LOL later this afternoon. I'll probably go see DD for a while. Hoping we can get together tonight for a while. She plans to leave between 3 & 4a.m. tomorrow. Sure will miss her! She treated us to an anniversary dinner last night. A mutual friend went with us. Very enjoyable.

On to checking things off>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Congrats on the anniversary Dee and Mr. Dee. I don't think I congratulated you before!

Back at home, groceries put away and did some refrigerator purging. Lots to purge because we're not cooking as much as expected. I got an MCD Bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Used to love them, but ugh now!

I can't hear myself think. I need to make the bed (didn't do earlier) and I'll head upstairs.

My brain is all over the place today. My thoughts are not organized in the least. I am thankful for SHE cards have clear instructions on what needs to be done. I am full of energy and desire to get things done but the thought process of what needs to be done next is sorely lacking today.

We are out of eggs, so I need to go to the farm. Her chickens run free on the farm which makes the yokes dark yellow. She keeps a refrigerator stocked with farm raised eggs & meat, and constantly changing homemade goodies. She sells everything using the honor system with the prices posted on the front of the refrigerator and a nearby money box to drop your payment into.

Good morning, all!

Dragging today. I just want to curl up in my chair and go to sleep. I suppose the gloomy skies don't help. I don't know if we're expected to get rain today or just more humidity. Temperatures are still comfortable, though.

Hoping to get something done today after an unproductive day yesterday and a Monday spent on DC's b-day (running around for presents that I could have easily had delivered if I'd done something about it sooner, and then the birthday dinner, etc., itself).

Hope you all have good days!

Grass is cut. I'm sure I missed spots and I should have set the blades lower to get the clover, but I didn't. Most of the brown is gone, so that was nice to notice. After I cut the grass, I burned all the cardboard and paper recycling. Laid in my hammock and watched until the flames all went away. There is a bit of smoke, but nothing major.

Most of the house is tidy with 2 bags of garbage going out this morning.

Now I just have to clean the litter box.
