I have been to the store for a groc. run they open at six.
Went to the tire store it had an alert that went off 1 mi. from home
so I unloaded groc. put away cold stuff and headed back down town for air.

When I put way food saw water on the floor by the furnace a/c so mopped that up and put a bucket by that for now.

Washer was off balance made a racket it is okay now. Dog is a bit freaked out however.

Good news I feel better.
Now to get the pj pattern cut out. *
Play with my new planner and my yarn! *

I think the color I have been painting it close to the lightest one on the sample of the beige ones.

Update called heating & plumbing folks have an Apt. for early next week. ac is still working.
I have been checking on it.
Got PJ's cut out yea!
Checked in sewing zone and under the indoor out door carpet 6 x 8' was wet too so took that out and it is drying on sawhorses.

My teens always slept in if they could.
I wasn't like that so it is foreign to me. dh on the other hand slept until 1 pm when we first married. I was up at 5:30 at the latest. His dear family (most) slept in and didn't go to bed until after midnight. My family were early to bed and early to rise people.

d twins I think that not knowing what to do next tends to cause confusion and then of course procrastination (lol not procreation ).
I can't wait to hear how your cabinets look!

moved the window cleaning card to Monday for the kitchen windows.
I have to add Swiffer dusting to the bottom trim in kitchen to the daily routine. dog hair is a pain on white.
cleaned counters, sink, stove, part of microwave I can reach - asked dh to do the top - dh is going to the store for my distilled water and for cat food and whatever he needs.
vacuumed and rinsed kitchen floor
surface washed doors in kitchen and some trim -
ordered groceries
I had tummy trouble and hoping that it passes

Next laundry room - flip laundry - wash something
swiped some spots
vacuumed and rinsed the floor already.
put dd older stuff in her room
emptied boxes that came in and dh is cutting them up
took down some towels for donation
donating a Starbucks cup
washed the top of the dining room table
swept dining room

next vacuum dining room
rinse the floor
cat litter
finish put away in front hall

next if I am up to it - vacuum basement
still hoping to work outside
change pool water for dogs

what's looking at me - the dogs left lots of foot prints in the 3 season room
visual clutter: towels that have to go upstairs
dd olders art work from her apartment has to go upstairs

I've wasted a lot of time today dithering over a citation. It affects a bunch of citations, tho, and it would be nice to have them correct? or close to correct?

Huh. List of things in my head. They're mostly all still there. Needing to be done.

I did do a big statement at my desk, which wasn't real easy. Customer came in to pay us and that resulted in long conversation.

Finally I got up on the ladder and got 2 light fixtures on the porch taken apart, 1 bulb changed, bugs / wasps chased out / everything washed and shined up. Floor cleaned up of all the dried out stuff that fell out of the fixtures.

Then one of my DGSons called. So I took a break. I managed to cook dinner with one hand while I talked with the other on my phone. 3 hours later..... not a great day for accomplishments, but I don't regret any of it.

Folded a LOL tonight, cleaned up kitchen, running dishwasher now. So that is it for the day. Maybe tomorrow will go better.

A "Hummingbird Moth" or "Snowberry Clearwing" came to the flowers today. This is the first one I've seen in my life so I don't believe they are native here. Ds came over and saw it and says he hasn't seen one either, but then he's relatively young. Another time I wish I had my parents to give an opinion. Of course, the petunias' advertising says they can be seen from so far away that they attract butterflies and bees. Maybe I should credit them.

Got a wonderful photo with the see-through-lace wings spread in front of the pink petunia bloom it was drinking from and sent to all the children. Ds' children came about an hour later, assuming they could just see the rare moth for themselves whenever convenient. (Made sense to them.) Who'd have believed they could just walk right up to the flowers and see it there again, but they did!

Had to defend a skink from our green-eyed-boy, who likes to prove he can catch them. Sigh. Grandma is not ready for that.

Ds tested all our (his) smoke detectors, got a difficult light fixture off and changed that bulb. Played with Tobias more than anyone has in months.

Have been slightly overwhelmed. Yesterday was a dermatology appt for HRH - he's "all clear" except for a freeze of a place on side of his face which took a second. Dr said, "I see a spot to freeze" and it was over. HRH said even though he barely got his eyes closed in time, it was much better than waiting for an explanation of a procedure, though. Just do it.

Then getting gasoline, then some work on my dear Aunt's estate, then grocery shopping and a quick visit on the porch at a cousin's house, to give a gift we've been meaning to take for a month! We were pretty happy with all we got done.

I was stung twice by some kind of a not-too-bad insect. A little benedril cream and I was better, although it was a shock at the moment. I was wearing a dress, maybe mid-calf. I've had that happen before. I think the skirt of a dress can "capture" a flying insect and in its panic it will stung.
