Lightning got our internet yesterday so I’m stuck sharing the phone with dh. Should get new modem tomorrow.

Nothing much to tell anyway.
I did take the dgrands to the pool (in between rain and thunderstorms today) and they are home again, preparing for tomorrow, first day of school.

Just wanted to check in and say hello to everyone.

Dee, love that dinner! Well, my closet is presently the smallest closet in the house. So my stuff is spread out between that one and 2 other ones. A bigger closet had all my winter clothes. I don't have a lot of heavy clothes, a few long sleeved sweaters I only wear for a couple months if it's cooler, a long warm bathrobe, a turtleneck and a vest. I moved all of them to the master walk-in. That left space for all the table cloths and runners I had in the little closet taking up about 1/5 of that closet. Then I put all my capris on a couple of those trouser hangers that have rungs for 5 pairs of things. They take up less space.

I'm more aware of the stuff in the master that I've never moved because I don't wear them often, or at all. Must think about if I want to donate any of those. And I still have the bin of clothes for when I get skinnier.

Finished all my spreadsheets. I was 3 months behind on one of them. The others just needed July done. Took a while. I couldn't remember how to change the paper drawer to fit legal size paper and that was a challenge. But it's all done. Spent some time going through all my records and can't find where I've ever paid for a medical thing I knew wasn't covered. Looked at all the charge bills and my check register and can't find it. I wonder if they're going to charge me? It was back from beginning of January. I had tried to pay when I was there but she said to wait till she submitted it. Hmmm

Another late wave from me. Today was indeed more productive than the past few days. Made a couple of phone calls: 1) Doctor bill had no insurance listed (why, I have no idea; I do remember at this visit being asked to show my card rather than just being asked, "Are you still with [insurer]?") and was therefore asking us for money when we've used up our deductible for the year. 2) I needed help filling out a form to change the beneficiary from the account with proceeds from my DM's house from my DB to DH. (I'd had DB on there because this was earmarked for DM's care if necessary, but it looks like all is well in that department.) The form was set up with only one line for a contingent beneficiary, and I needed two, one for each child. Did some grocery shopping -- got fresh things for today's dinner and frozen/canned things for a couple of dinners coming up. Should have gotten lunch stuff for more than one day. Oh, well. Let dfriend's dogs out; they return home from vacation tomorrow.

Did not do laundry, though.

I have no great wisdom, but I am glad to live where I do and have no worries (at least not yet) about drought or hurricanes. Putting up with the occasional 90°/90% day is worth it. (Although, technically, while Monday had both, it did not have 90° and 90% humidity at the same time.)

Heading up to bed. I'm going to count on lucylee to turn out the lights. (Watch -- this'll be the night she's tucked into bed at 9!)

Just realized what the topic was for today.
Boy, I wish I had some wisdom.
I also wish I could find some energy and motivation!
Today:
Slept 8 hours
Got up, s2s, with interruptions to help dh with breakfast and talk to ds on phone
Went to dbil’s office, post office, and bank with dh
Put load of laundry in washer
Home, ate “2nd breakfast,” read paper
Scrolled on phone and fell asleep again
Put laundry in dryer
Took dgrands swimming
Got take-out for supper
Read paper, watched tv, fell asleep again
Walked away the pounds for 10 min
Bedtime routine

Yes — it looks like I slept nearly 12 hours!
Of course, it’s honestly more like 10, bc my sleep app thinks I’m asleep when I know I’m lying in bed watching tv. Still… something needs to change around here.
