Good morning!

I've already been to garden therapy this morning which always nudges my attitude to the sunshine side. Our weather is also filled with sunshine today resulting in another triple digit day of heat.

DH made arraignments for someone to teach his class this morning as he is following doctor orders to stay down. The kid and I will attend church without him.

The instant pot is cooking pinto beans and ham. I'll make a couple pans of cornbread to go with it.

yesterday I gave into the day and took the day off - except for some dailies!

We have had some on and off drizzle - it was unexpected! the drizzle is still not enough to moisten the soil. our water last month was $160 extra than it usually is.

What to do to keep at status quo today: that I don't want to do
pick up dog stuff! don't let a day pass - it's easier than having to do It daily than waiting - gross but done :D
cat's
look at the week and plan ahead
towels wash

look up weigh t watch ers - it's time to go back to meetings

Something that got behind that must be done
the I pass is not recording and is costing us money.

What will keep me ahead or get ahead: (a finished product).
What will be fun - continue putting up curtain rods and curtains.
order flagstone
Christmas ordering

time to start:
meds
dog yuck.
look for garbage

Tonight's supper will be spaghetti and home made meatballs.

I went out and did a "quick" grocery shopping. I needed spaghetti sauce and a store in the next town over had it on sale. Meat is defrosting.

IF I wanted to be productive today, I would tend to the dishes.

The desk is getting a spiff it was in dire need of it!
My stretching was picking up sticks from the winds yesterday before I watered in front.
I watered the dry spot in back again.
Walked the dog.
Had bfast.
Deciding on church have sniffles or allergies not sure...

hello
I have picked up dog stuff
marked off where the flagstone or. bluestone will go
dogs ran out of electric fence and then didn't want to come back in. (don't blame them). tightened their collars
weeded front of flower bed - measured the plants to see what else can go in there next year.
now for back of flower garden weeding - it's getting hot
I have 2 plants that need to be dug in and watered.
finished planting delphinium, peony coral, climbing rose
watered the remainder of zone 1
now watering flower bed

------------------------------------------
hello d Nancy! nothing better than spiffing up the desk. Once done it makes you feel like you can breath again
we have similar temps - we will be 85 today and I don't care for that heat. but better than what other face. I am great in temps from 53 to 75
have a great day

hi d cathy I love spaghetti and meatballs. I have been thinking of making Swedish meatballs with egg noodles and a bit of parsley.
have a good day

I'm JUST FINALLY getting here.

But, FIRST, wanted to wish DHarmony and DLucylee both a very happy birthday. Had that first on my to-do list for today and haven't been able to get here. Hope you both have a very nice/memorable day.

Dneighbor and I started on our deck with dh's coat closet at 8:30am. Once we were started we just kept going. I have another cupboard out there that hold various things and we cleaned that out. Then she and her dh moved our back steps and put our mini-fridge on those. From there we cleaned out our deck bin and another small bin we have between chairs. She swept everything and we ended up with 2 garbage bags full for the dumpster and a golf cart full of things to go! YAY! Have all our things for next year's yard sale all put together in the deck bin so it'll be easily accessible come June. We switched out a few other things. Dh kept himself busy doing recycling but has been all-in since then -big time. 2 more sleeps till the cardiologist! So hopeful he'll have some answers and actions for us.

After dfriend left (she also brought over her S hark cleaner and we cleaned out everything) I had the bug and came in and cleaned out 3 cupboards (top/bottoms). Moved our paper goods where I could get at them so much easier. Now I have some things to put back out in the 'dish cupboard'. Things I do use, but rarely. Plenty of room in that cabinet. Have 3 hooded sweat shirts plus a couple others that I'll wash and put some in the donation bag. Took us 2 hours.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
