5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
Name five things to do by seven, or seven things to do by five, or four things by six, or three things by five, you get the picture! (See what I did there?)

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
Good morning!
Happy Anniversary wishes to Twins & DH!
My laptop is continuing its keyboard tantrums. I updated everything and reinstalled device drivers without solving it. So, I cried uncle and ordered another laptop this morning. I wish I weren't so meticulous about techie stuff. I know exactly what I want in every detail, and it takes me a bit of time to find the laptop with all the exact pieces & parts that I want. ANYway, it is done and should arrive Friday.
I am feeling off balanced with the laptop tantrum happening continually. It feels like adding the care of a needy two-year-old to my day. Ohs well....this too will pass.
I need to stay focused on doing the next thing today because the distractions are high, and my energy level is low.
Next up - Personal AM cards. I skimmed through them before taking DD11 to school. I Need to wash hair and finish what I skipped.

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
Oy. I could start with five and then do another five, or seven (do I want to do that????) by five or what? I think I have too many choices - and I have decision fatigue before I even decide what to do today. And I feel overwhelmed.
Here's five to start, and I've cheated, to get a little momentum going, by getting two underway already.
*clean drain on washing machine, and run pellet through (in progress)
*descale Keurig (in progress)
*Call to city tax assessor re: property taxes on temple cemetery
*Send off form for SS withholding (before the mail runs! Eek!)
*pull out tax stuff for dd and scan to send to her. She must unfortunately, have someone do her own tax return this year
Thank you for the anniversary wishes! It's thirty-six years! Dd called yesterday and indicated we were receiving something today, and that she had inveighed ds to pay his half. This a.m. we received beautiful flowers - white hydrangeas, some autumn colored dahlias, white roses and a few things I don't recognize in autumn colors. I texted the two of them and dh a photo.

before dh and I go to home de. pot. (need another vent and a few curtain rod hardware).
pea gravel, compost, flagstone for next week.
buy birthday cards.
before heading out:
s2s
Kitchen: counters, stove, counters, table, vacuum, if I can: rinse
take down one decoration I put up in 3 season room that we all decided that we don't like.
straighten family room
visual put away by both dh and I - he won't be thrill
he won't complain but I want to get the visual clutter under control that we all made.

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
I decided I needed some garden therapy this morning so Micro and I went to play. Micro loves interacting with the rabbits. He stands next to their cage and acts as if he is in charge of their entertainment. I harvested more sweet potatoes. I estimate that I am half done with that harvest. Also picked some peppers and tomatoes. I considered harvesting the first summer squash ut I haven't decided if I will enter anything in the fair so I am waiting for that decision before harvesting them.
DSisIL has invited us over for lunch. She is making Indian Tacos. IF I had finished my personal AM cards this morning I would be able to walk out the door without any prep.....but that didn't happen. I will do a quick 5-minute effort and go the way I am.

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
I 'slept in' somewhat today and have a pretty good start on my "5 x 7" I think. Been revamping my to-do list somewhat. That's something I do often, thinking "this" one will be even better. How many years have I (we) been at this?
A VERY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR & MRS TWINS. Hope you have a fantabulous day!

5X7:
Make up 'bee food' for bee traps -DONE
Put plastic storage containers & jars to 'dish cabinet' -DONE
Re-do Job list -DONE
Start order list for W mart -DONE
Do dishes
For whatever reason Dh lost over 4.5# yesterday. Know he was up from the recliner about every 1/2 hour for a potty break. Somewhat wondering if it had anything to do with him taking the lower dose of BP med, or was it the fact that he was in the recliner with his feet up most of the afternoon? Whatever the reason I know he feels better about the swelling in his ankles.
He's somewhat puttering putting together a new grill for the campground in our driveway today. Taking his time. It was something that needed doing before Sunday's big cookout for the campground and they figured it's something he can putter at. They'll probably put his hours in later on when/if he can return to work in a few weeks. What am I saying? Not IF, but WHEN.
Dh cooked up a # of bacon in the air fryer this morning. Going to use some for sandwiches this noon. Will make grilled cheese, tomato, bacon sandwiches. Yum....so good!
I actually ran out of printer paper yesterday so have started a list for an order to W mart. I'll get that together and sent this afternoon. I never order less than the required $35 so I don't have to pay shipping. Been known to often order an extra food item or 2 just so it's over the $35 -figure it's better than paying the $5.99/shipping fee.

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
Good afternoon! I can't believe it's after 1:00 already. I have been hard at work for the past couple hours. It's break time now.
Didn't sleep well last night. Ate wrong and had acid reflux, plus I couldn't get comfortable. My back was twinging and aching I think from all the hard work yesterday and wrestling with that mattress. So I got up and sat in my recliner. DH checked on me when he got up and found the TV on. I had put it on very low volume, it helps me sleep. I think it drowns out the noise and redirects my brain away from the tinnitus in my ears. Sometimes that bothers me more in a very quiet room. Too bad I don't like noise like those machines that have wave or rain noise. For some reason I find them annoying. My Dr. has that in her waiting room. I just want her to come and get it over with and if I sit there listening too long I'm ready to scream when she finally comes in.
Happy Anniversary to Twins and DH. That's a lot of years. Congratulations!
I didn't count jobs or figure a time to be done because there is just too much to do so I started in. DH had gone out to tool repair place to pick up a staple gun and stop at grocery store so I figured while he was out I'd work on the decluttering. I've been at that a couple hours. It's slowly getting nicer around here.

Re: 5 x 7 Tuesday PWYC, or Name your Size
I've been cleaning out my box of papers that I used to keep on the counter where I sat. I'll need a new place for it, and there were some papers that should stay there. That started when I was looking for all of dd's tax papers. Instead of sending them to her today, I am going to get dh to verify that the investment statement is the correct one. Sometimes they are reissued later with changes. I haven't called the city re: property tax, just sent an email to prior treasurer to see what she knew about it. She's also a former CPA and might know what the story is.
The two J s are actually beginning to wrap this up - what they are doing at least. Builder told them someone else will paint. The countertop people need to come back next week, too. I need to make a punch list of what still needs doing.
