Slept good bs was awesome today!
Sorted a few items out of a desk to dis-guard.

Re: Thursday PWYC
good day to you. I didn't feel well yesterday and ended up taking a long nap.
I think I am not moving enough. working outside during the cooler periods should help build my strength.
---------------------------------------------
I have had a couple doozy days - I don't know if you have ever had this happen but for some reason everyone you meet just doesn't seem pleased with you.
It's like a fluke where it happens all through the day and you just don't know why. it's like everything in the day goes wrong.
Dd older had that two days ago. Yesterday dd younger had a really bad day- she is praying she still has a job (totally unaware they wanted some other things out of her-she does't notice things unless she is directly told to handle it - or is unaware that someone wants to have her do things on her own bc she should know. It's part of work and she will have to learn the idiosyncrasy of people. All I can do is pray. dd older gave her some advice on how to be aware at work and to do more to find out what is needed then by observations.
Then our one neighbor, from down the block, was upset for goodness knows why. dd older said hello - he scoffed at her and didn't say anything - Brought his dog to our mailbox to let it pee on it in front of her. Then went and talked to our lovely neighbor next door as nice as can be. sigh - there used a big nasty click at the end of the block when we first moved in. They talked about each other horribly. All the people from the click, but this one, moved out. after 23 years you would think there would not be a problem. We have great neighbors and I will say hi to this neighbors wife. It must be something I am not seeing even though I am pretty aware. The old click used to deliberately stand on our driveway to talk - sometimes the one man who was the click leader would sit on our porch or other peoples porches when they were away that the click didn't care for. Like a dog claiming the territory. When they moved the click fell apart and more people moved and nice people moved in that were unaware of the click.
Thank goodness I keep out of neighborhood drama and I won't be pulled into this old stuff again. You can't make someone like you. you can't make someone happy but I can be nice as can be. I love 99% of our neighbors.
The only thing I can do - move forward - listen to the kids and pray for them - I tend to be an introvert but I will continue doing my thing but be really kind and thoughtful to others. ignore my one neighbor' s behavior and keep saying hi nicely. As for things not working out or people seeming upset - it happens and look for the best and be aware of my own behavior - show the good.

Re: Thursday PWYC
Our landscapers are here today - love them!!! I gave them their Christmas tip early; like I usually do. We have a bunch of different people here in October and there has been a couple times they didn't get their early tip because I had missed them.
I figured out what I need to put in the bank. I will do that later.
I am getting tired of the heat. I don't want cold but I would love temps that are comfortable to work in. (or have a big of clouds overhead). We tend to get humidity at this time of the year.
things I have to do:
water zone 1 and zone 5 - things are drying up.
bank item.
I made dinner last night and it was awful.
oh my goodness. lol I have to get back into meal planning and practice cooking on a simple scale while I am still working outside.
okey pokey dokey - I have to work.

Re: Thursday PWYC
First off to wish MYSTERY A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I always remember your day as it's the day following DShelley's. Wanted to get here before I took dh to the Pulmonologist but we were out of here at 7:45 so it didn't leave time for computer.
Good news and bad news at the DR's this morning. Dr thinks a different inhaler in the morning might do the trick with at least some of dh's shortness of breath. He asked him how it was when he was on Pred nisone for something a while back and he said it was great. So he prescribed T relogy (he's taken A noro for a long time). Says the "T" has just a tad of prednisone in it. That's the 'good' news. The 'bad' is that a prescription is almost $200 more up to $495 for 3-month supply. Ouch, but it is what it is. If it helps then so be it. Dh loves going to this office as everyone!! is so nice and cheerful and helpful. He has 14 days left in this one inhaler. New one won't be here before next Wed-Sat anyway. Then he has a whole one of the Anoro left. If this new one works I may try to give away the sealed Anoro one which is good for 30 days.
I waited in the car for dh. Hit the curb with passenger side going in I'm afraid. Then we went to A ldi's and the $ Tree. Leaving there there were cones going out and in trying to miss those I hit the curb on the driver's side.
Now hoping all my tires stay inflated.
Turned the water heater on as soon as we got back as well as the ice maker. Plan for this afternoon is to get the dishes done. Then we'll go over the papers for his Endoscopy for tomorrow morning. So hoping that goes well so the cardiologist can get things moving on his end. Depending on what the Dr tomorrow tells us I will try calling the cardiologist's office first thing. Then we're going to B J 's to get gas I think. This procedure means he'll be in the hospital for about 3-4 hours. I looked in Greece to see what gas was and it was down to $3.63 there so not sure what it'll be in Henrietta. Where we usually get gas it's $4.09 with a member card.
Dh is dozing so will wait to make lunch for a little while.
Tried to get frozen waffles at W almart the other day -there were none. Today there were none at A ldi's either. I like them for breakfast with various things on them. Usually like it better than toast. But tomorrow I hope to be able to stop at the Amish bakery on the way home and pick up a few loaves of bread. Love their white bread.
Dh is pretty worn out at this point.

Happy Happy Birthday to you, Mystery! Enjoy your day!
I've always followed the English royal family and I'm listening to the news about QEII this a.m.
I need to do two returns at HD, two items at UPS, groceries and drugstore.
For some reason I have two packages that are return at Whole Foods, in the other direction. That will be another day.

Re: Thursday PWYC
Good morning (barely)!
Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes! I have to figure out where we’re going to dinner.
Our Labo(u)r Day trip to Canada was something else! While we were still in New York, the car started developing a violent shake at 60 mph. Between the wait at the border and Toronto traffic, we didn’t get to DH’s DAunt’s till nearly 7. We hadn’t stopped for dinner because we didn’t want to run any later. DAunt was nowhere near ready to go when we got there. So we’re trying to get her packed but meanwhile getting cranky because we haven’t eaten. She scared up a couple of pieces of fruit and a microwave breakfast to tide people over, and the packing continued. It was nearly dark before we got out of there, DH driving his DA’s car and me following in ours. There were plenty of fast food places we could have stopped at on Yonge St. if we were on foot, but of course there was no parking. We finally found a grocery store with parking and pulled in. DH went in and found a couple of cheese trays and a pack of bagels, and that was dinner. Got to the cottage around 10 or so and collapsed as soon as we were unloaded. Next day, I went to wash up and couldn’t. Nothing came out of the tap. Nobody believed me — the kids had washed up, and there was water for a kettle of tea. Nope. Really. We were out of water. DA called her guy (not a boyfriend
), a fellow a little younger than DH and me who takes care of whatever she needs. (I hope he’s well remembered in her will!) He said he’d bring a big container as soon as he could. Well, he was working, so he didn’t arrive with water until after dinner time. Meanwhile, the outhouse was infested with hornets, so we learned the answer to, “What are you gonna do when the well runs dry?” is, “Use the bathroom at the nearest gas station.” The actual visit was nice, and we made it home with car and sanity intact.
Said car is at the shop today; mechanic says it sounds like a wheel/tire alignment issue and not the more expensive front end.
DC stayed home from class; they were going to take an Uber in, but we were having trouble with the app, and it was getting later and later, and they were going to have to leave their afternoon class early for a job interview anyway, so it seemed the stars were aligned to stay home.
I should really work on payroll. I’ve got a 30-page section to work on that’s going to involve putting physical chemistry and metallurgy into layman’s terms. Ouch!
Have a lovely day, everyone!
