Break time here.

Way to go Harmony… I have a pretty good idea of what you have done and how heavy the equipment is that you are using. Not easy on the body even in younger times… hugs!

Dee.. I like the idea of giving your dgd the Angel. Sounds to me like that’s where it belongs.

Blessed .. sometimes I can’t keep up with all you do :D

Got the laundry going. I am washing a shirt I hope to wear this evening but know it will need to be ironed. Have all the packages wrapped and done. Cleaned out my car, which is really my ddil because we switched cars. Brought everything in and separated the stuff according to what it is. Put each category in a zip lock bag and then put all of it in a large bag that I have the presents in.

Next up is working on preparing and wrapping the meats so it can all be frozen. I have a tiny teeny freezer so that should be fun… not

Break over back to work :D

Happy Birthday to RR's grandson!

Homeschool is done for the day and the week.

Pick your pain.....
** Last week I read an article saying my area had the lowest gas price in the US. It is currently $2.85 gallon here.
** This week I read we have the highest electricity cost increase in the US. From June 2021 to June 2022 our electricity cost increased 49%.

Next up - Do my daily walk (5 minutes minimum).

cut the corn stalks down and made two good sized bundles for each side of the front porch - put a nice fall ribbon on it. it doesn't fit in yet as the flowers are still beautifully blooming.

all the little pumpkins are pulled - now to wash them and let them dry for Sunday.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Thank you, RR. Think that only confirms it for me. As I look at it I can imagine it in their new home and near new baby. I think it will mean a lot to her.

I was really tired this afternoon. So....I napped. Dfriend was here for a while. Dh just admitted to me that he was very lightheaded while said friend was here. Oh, can Monday come too soon?

Figured out this morning I have a LOL (darks) that really needs doing. I know I won't be able to do it tomorrow so guess it's on to Saturday morning.

Dfriend (neighbor) who pulled our fridge out and cleaned behind it last weekend (and then she and dh discovered the freezer door had dropped down and lots of cold escaping out the top of the door), just asked me if I had any more jobs I'd like done this weekend. Weekend before she and I cleaned out everything on our deck and she and her dh moved our small fridge and the back steps out there. She loves doing this stuff. Maybe I'll hire her to help clean the whole inside next spring. There's little sense in doing a deep clean now especially since there's so much dust around here. In fact that's an interesting topic. Dfriend's question is (as they're installing a large swimming pool and a jacuzzi up by our rec hall): "How do they expect to keep these waters clean with all the dust around here?" We have dirt roads everywhere here and the dust is a constant. I am forever cleaning off the front counter under our TV and then a couple days later I glance and it's totally dust!
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Blessed - you are doing so much outside! Your fall decorations are impressive.

I did a 20 minute walk. Our pastor saw me outside and came to visit.

I've been making a list of stress reducing activities. Some have surprised me because I didn't realize they do relax me until I stopped and analyzed what things bring me joy and are eagerly anticipated.

My stress reducing activities -
** Using SHE cards. Being consistent so I can know things are not falling through the cracks.
** Journaling my thoughts and activities.
** Limiting TV & social media usage.
** Spending time in the garden surrounded by nature and Gods creations
** Music playing (favorite playlist, radio, and hands-on piano)
** Planning, preparing & serving an excellent meal.
** Improving a chaotic area of our home. Cleaning, decluttering, organizing it to look its best.
** In recliner with feet up and fan blowing on my face.
** Deep diving into a subject that interests me. Researching & creating a notebook capturing what I learn.
** Creating excel spreadsheets with automated features, macros and formulas.

Next up = DD11 home from school. Listen to her about high/low buffalo moments and then move on to rabbit care conversation.

Been kinda frantic all day, “Sheldon” has been all in a tizzy with plans to get dgrands for trip tomorrow. Lots of details — Dgd has Constitution Day parade, dgs has test, dh all worried about traffic in Big City. If we leave too late, traffic is just horrible for about an hour through that stretch.

I slept good last night, finally came down from the steroid high, LOL. Dh and I are going to a movie now. Can’t really cuop but wanted to check in. I do love the Angel idea for Dgd, Dee.
Tomorrow is another day.

I cooked a pot of Jambalaya rice with ground beef for the family. I took a serving of ground beef and added it to freshly cooked spinach for my dinner.

I am on Day #6 of the Micronutrients class. The focus is learning how to get all essential vitamins/minerals from food & drinks. The first 3-4 days of this class showed my score was in the 40's. Oops! The last couple of days I've studied what I need to do and made better food choices.

LadyM, with all the veggies you eat all the time, if your nutrients aren't where they should be...I don't have a snowball's chance of ever getting near your numbers. I'm sure I don't eat as healthily as you do.

Long nap. Just couldn't move from my chair. Finally got into the shower, too lazy to soak in tub. Only reason I got up was because I knew I needed to cook something for dinner. Scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed and got 98% of the whites off of me. Dinner was fish and chicken strips done in the little oven, beets and leftover mashed potatoes. Not bad for being tired and having no plan.

Kitchen cleaned. My shoes are scrubbed. They are white again. Both our socks we had on are soaked and bleached and washed. Hanging up now I will put them with the next load of clothes in the laundry.

DH went out and mixed up another batch and worked on the middle pad. It was not draining the right way. DH thinks he ran out of concrete when he poured that slab. So it is fixed now and should drain the right way. He will have to put a texture on that spot. Tapes and plastic is taken down. I like how it looks. This is something people call "cool deck" although I think originally that was a brand name and it is called something else now (at least the brand we used). I think it'll be nice once we paint. Our plan is to do it Saturday because I'll be busy tomorrow. I said I'll do all the edges and DH wants to roll it. He has rollers on long long handles where he can stand up and do it. I'll be the one crawling around.

I'm behind with everything in the house. Laundry needs folded, 1 bed needs changed, etc. sigh....
