d cathy I do love seeing what you cook each night!
hi d twins how nice that you had time with your dear friend! (and to get rid of things to boot).
yay on using your timer.

I have a feeling you and d lady are right.
I am glad, as well, that the cooler temps are here (or coming). I do get tired of the super hot.
what a good idea it is to work on that so that it will be off your mind.
chore bingo - how fun.

hi d dee glad the PA is a spot on type of man!!!

hi d Nancy - how wonderful it is that you got to the next color on your knitting.
also happy you were able to walk the d dog!

d lady - I don't always know when the depression cloud is hitting me until a few days in. I didn't do anything for days and I think that added to that depression feeling. Thank you so much for the hugs as well. I was outside all day today and I felt accomplished. I am also sure that the shorter days are affecting me and I just didn't know it. thank you!!!

glad you had a nice morning.
12 weeks seems like a very long time to see a counselor. Hope your ds14 likes the one that dd11 goes too! a good therapist is worth their weight in gold!
I love your cooking too!

I am feeling a bit tired. I took some ty Lon el for a headache that was getting worse.
I am hungry and I had planned on making dinner - I will say I am too hungry to wait I think. I had a broth based soup for lunch
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Been studying a lot online on what to eat/what not to eat with this infection for dh. I'm at least learning a lot. Bugs me when info contradicts itself though. One will say pickles should be eaten and another 'avoid pickles'. So, which is it? Wish I could simply find a list of good foods in a printable list instead of all the rhetoric.

Dh is down taking a shower. He's slept a lot today. But then he said it was after 3 or 4 before he got to sleep last night. Hope he'll sleep tonight. Have to get our things ready for morning. His appointment with the cardiologist is at 8:40am. Reminds me I need to type up a list of the antibiotics, etc he'll be back on.

I have petered out here. Didn't get to the 15 min filing or 15 on garage and I hate to continue drawing because I don't want to start a bigger job right now. Have texted with construction mgr about the last bit of pantry work and please please please just let it go to next week!

Ah, this sat here for awhile. Dh is home now, scallops are thawed so I'm starting our supper.

Dee, I'm so sorry you have this infection on top of what dh and you have already been through. I did read that many people have the bacteria in their tummy and a lot don't show symptoms. I wonder if the liver involvement is what worries docs? Does Mr. Dee have tummy symptoms from it?

I did my fall planning reset and sort of went ack!
 But some of these things will be good to do when we have shorter days bc it is crafts, sewing or writing.
So that helped!

Just ci:
I am NOT accountable today. My goodness…
Started very well — no phone distractions till s2s
Then — dgs arrived…he had been to dermatologist…
went to post office and bank…
Picked up Dgd (early dismissal day for Homecoming)
Reconciled bank statement…

Went to homecoming parade with dgrands
Had a coughing spell that left me with a headache and pains from my chest to my knees… I was literally in tears and I don’t even remember when something physical has brought on tears.

Took Aleve.
Helped Dgd with her bath.

Ds and ddil arrived to take them home.

We will get them tomorrow around noon and they will be with us till I take them to school Monday.
I am so tired.

So — I am eating candy from the parade and I do not see exercise happening tonight.

I know this is NOTHING compared to what some of you are dealing with— (((Dee))) ((( LadyM))).
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for all of us.
Tomorrow is another day.

A drive to big city today confirmed that HRH does very well in traffic. He does need to turn around quite a bit to see to merge right, but can anticipate that. His exacting long-term knowledge of the city's streets is intact. It is better than mine, though mine remains good.

That took a long time. I have napped today. Probably haven't eaten all that well - resorted to a frozen meal for late lunch, but it was an Amy's brand.

Dd42 came over this evening and we talked for an hour.

Almost nothing done around the house. An odd day. Kind of a hard day.

lucylee, that was a difficult coughing spell!

My usual plan/hope for avoiding winter doldrums is to look forward to holidays, then look forward to the ease of January, which has always been the calm and centered month for me, with the most catch-up on chores, then look forward to... .. garden planning!
