Thanks, Blessed. I'm better tonight but just very tired. I have been grouchy all day and I hate, hate, hate feeling this way.

DS-R and DDIL were just here for a bit. Did the normal chit-chat at first and talked about Ian and DBil who is still at DD's. He still has no power. And then DS dropped the 'bombshell'. Started by saying, "We haven't said anything because everything else going on." (Words a mother/grandmother doesn't ever want to hear, am I right?) Seems DGS17 was in a pretty serious accident Monday. Had his "girl"friend with him. They were on a very curvy road not far from here actually. Witnesses said they saw him turn around and the guy said, "At the speed he's going he's not going to make that curve." Some time back he bought wide tires for his truck and ds was very unhappy with them. At any rate the truck went from dry pavement to wet on the curve and he flipped hitting another car with a woman and her 4 and 5 year olds. Both cars were totalled.The good part is everybody is going to be okay, bruises, concussions, abrasions, etc. So all in all they are all very fortunate. And I feel very fortunate that we still have a grandson. Hopefully he's learned something from all this, expensive as this lesson will be. When he does get another car DS & DDIL had already told him that 1 ticket or 1 accident and he would no longer be on their insurance. Knowing them I know they will stick to their guns. The woman, of course was all but to her driveway.
