I have no idea how I'm here but I am and on my phone. We do not have internet so this is a miracle. I could hobble back to the office to see if the modem is lit up but we have the generator turned off for a few hrs so how could that be? I must be strictly on cell data, although that has. Been spotty too. This whole time.

I am sorry to see lady M's news.
My cell co. Did say they wouldn't be charging extra charges during this time... So somehow here I am.
We still have no electricity, water but must boil it. Dinner tonight was something from a can heated up on the grill. Camp coffee pot made some coffee, it's taken all this time for me to find a little grill top so I could use the little burner on the side. I scrounged around underneath the cabinet of the grill and found something that fit, scrubbed all the rust off and it seems to work.

We are making due with whatever we can. Grateful that it's been a bit cooler and our command central is the front porch where we put the back porch table and the grill. Every day I try to wash one type of clothes and hang on the rack. Today it was t-shirts. Storm was scary strong, the front door vibrated. Felt like we were really getting beat up for hours and hours. Plus our neighborhood flooded. And it was halfway up the yard to the house. Looking around the next day I saw. A fish in my driveway, I hope he got back to his home.

Ok, that's it for now. I'll be back soon, but it was a real treat to peak in tonight.

Well, it's a thrill for us, too, Harmony! Much relief to hear from you so thank you to cell company. Glad to hear you are grilling and camp-pot coffee-making. How I wish I could just run out to the store for you, to pick up whatever you needed. Wouldn't that be nice.

So, we've heard from Ramblin' and blessed's family, Dee's family, too. Whew.
