Oohhh… that sounds good, Twins! I like last minute plans bc if I have time to anticipate something, my anxiety will kick in.

And Kathryn, your answer to the uninvited guests is GENIUS!

I’ve done nothing today, except I went to the rec center and got dgs signed up for basketball. If ds did it, they would wait till the last day and dh would start getting anxious that they would forget it.
When we asked dgs if he wanted to play again this year, he said, “Of COURSE I want to play! You KNOW I want to play.”
I said, “Well, I was just double checking.”
He said, “Well, next time you can just single check.”
LOL.

just a quick hello -
I didn't finish planting the bulbs. I did the best I could.
it started drizzling again and it was a beautiful fall day

I love it! My aggravation faded away and I had a big grin on my face while reading the ideas of how to respond to clueless and intrusive guests. Pure brilliance!

DS14 first appt with the counselor was good. Better than I had hoped. On the way there DS14 told me this was going to be the only time he was going. He was not enthused about missing work to talk to some stranger. After the appt he thanked me for taking him and is looking forward to his next appt.

Once again DS14 is met with unbelief of his age due to his height. This happens frequently but I thought a counseling center would be more attuned to not reacting to the unusual. When checking in for the appointment they asked for our ID's, I gave them my ID and said he is a minor and doesn't have an ID. They said the minor client doesn't need to provide an ID but the adults do. Once again I explained that he is not an adult, but he is the 14 year old client. The receptionist replied in disbelief "He is only 14 years old????!!!" Yeah, she really needs to work on her people skills. .

The obituary is written. The kids, dogs and rabbits are fed and watered. I'm stopping for the day. Sweet dreams and good sleep wish sent to all.

Dgd requested a ride I begged out of it saying she did not want to be exposed to what I have.

However ...
I must be feeling better.
I did the edge cleaning in the living room and in
kit & dining room dusted under china hutch fridge and stove with my long handled brush.

Hydrating happening now.
Had my fav. lemon tea with vit. C earlier.
My meal for dinner was excellent I like subway better than arby's philly cheese steak sandwich.

I did up a bit more on crocheting project.
Did my prayer journal entry did it outside ten min. is all the time that it took.
