Tuesday, and Off We Go!

Post by Harriet »

Off we go into Tuesday! Will it live up to reputation and be the most productive day of the week?

HRH and I will be traveling to an appt for me. I don't know if we'll stop anywhere else.

Where will your Tuesday take you?

Where will Tuesday take me?
— to the beauty shop (haircut)
— to the bathroom multiple times

I feel much better, but I definitely overdid it, adjusting to eating again last night. (Ate a whole stack of saltine crackers.) Now, I have heartburn in addition to the diarrhea. Sorry if y’all are tired of this TMI…
Tomorrow is another day.

Hi!

Dh offered a walker to his BF last night when he was here, as he (BF) is having mobility issues. Dh and his BF both forgot about it by the time BF left, so... we are going to take it to him today. It's an hour's drive each way. I don't really want to go, but dh asked me to come with him, so I guess I will go with him. It's a long, boring ride, but BF needs the walker and it's just out in the garage on a shelf doing nothing. Right now dh is in the shower. I need to get ready to go.

Kitchen is still a mess, but it will still be there when we get home.

Oh! Thank you for starting us, Harriet!

I'm trying to get myself moving, and I'm trying to decide whether to go after groceries or Instacart. I thought that I needed to be out of the house for the TSA PreCheck appt today but it is tomorrow. So I might just order groceries and not bother going out. The construction guy will be here this afternoon to finish up a few things.

I have a long day today that I can work upstairs - dh bowls tonight so I don't cook supper so I have the evening. I have leftover grilled chicken from last night.

Good morning!

Harriet - Thanks for the start today.

It is a joy to read the plans and various directions SHE's are going today.

I'm carefully and deliberately starting the multiple plates spinning again. I am following the SHE cards which provide the details for my daily routines. I don't want to think about everything that needs to be done but just follow the plan that ensures all the little things are accomplished.

I have the oven heating to make 2 types of cookies to take as a dessert. I remembered we had a couple boxes of fund raiser cookie dough in the freezer which works perfectly for today. Freshly baked Snickerdoodles and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies will be my contribution to the lunch meal.

I wrote checks for DD11 needs this morning. Picture day, yearbook, and field trip are all paid for now.

I have my first 1k steps in. Baby stepping my way through the day.

Almost noon :D

I slept poorly last night and didn’t wake up until after 8…that’s late for me.

Too hot to work on the lanai and I have a sinus headache so I didn’t even try. I did clean all my floors yesterday, both vacuuming and mopping it. Now I need to do a grocery run, but have been reading the the road that leads to the store is very congested due storm constructions so not sure what I need to do.

Am about to make lunch and I’m hungry

And off I went somewhat early this morning, to go for lab work. Went to a new place (to me) a couple of towns south of us, Avon, NY. Turned out to be easy to find and I probably had the best experience of getting all the blood work and urinalysis done fast and easy. So now that's done till next spring. My Dr's appointment is Friday. Dh has one with his GP Thursday morning. I'm sure they'll do blood work then right there. I know he's waiting on a call from his cardiologist's office. He's been itching intensely and getting quite hoarse. The only thing we can point it to is the Eliquis he's taking. Wanted the cardiologist's take on it before he sees his GP Thursday.

After I got lab work done I went to the grocery store and bought just a few things. We wanted stuff for a tossed salad for lunch. I had leftover grilled chicken that we added to it. It was really good. Had trouble finding my way around the store though as they're completely revamping this store. The parts that are done are very nice and carrying more variety than they ever had before. I see today a good share of the shelves have been emptied in readiness. They're hoping to have it done by Thanksgiving.

Stopped on the way back to pick up our mail -which reminds me I need to fill out our change of address cards and get them mailed. Soon will also have to remember to change our address for our mail order meds. Need to check to be sure everything that needs to come here already has, first.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

We've been a quiet bunch today, still on the first page. I've kept my head down working upstairs mostly. I just walked a lap with dfriend M.
