Thanks for your thoughts for dh to feel better. I just checked our web site for messages from our doctors and I see a lab requisition has been sent in. So maybe at least we can find out for sure it's not an imbalance of some sort. He'll probably go in first thing tomorrow morning. I did look and his cardiologist had labs done September 16th. His potassium level was 3.7 at that point. I'm almost surprised Dr didn't say anything about it as I know he likes it to be well over 4. So we'll see what that and his magnesium levels are at least.

I've skimmed today's posts and have the last few days to catch up on. But I'm on my phone now so will try to do that later.

Dee, hope your Dh gets to be feeling better.

Things are a little topsy turvy here. Last Friday ddil's dm-T tested positive for Covid. She's been staying in her room since then, except to come downstairs for some food. I've been taking care of her kitten, making sure he's fed. So, then Monday morning dgd-H said she wasn't feeling well either; went out to CVS and was tested. Yep, she's also positive for Covid, and staying in her room. Her fiance is, fortunately, in Nevada on a TDY for a few weeks. I've got my fingers crossed, saying my prayers and taking extra vitamin C that ddil brought home for us.

Dgrd and fiance-C are getting married on Nov. 13th. She still has some things to do and has been working on finishing up the table decorations. Dson-T has been working on making an arbor that will be decorated in fall leaves. Hopefully no one else will be ill that weekend.

There's a chill in the air. Temps are in the 50's this week, since that rain and cold front on Monday. Temp was in the mid 30s last night. Dson turned the heat on this morning.

Dog is being needy today, time to let him out!

hello all. I am far behind to get to my outside work

I worked another hour - cleaned the washer and dryer and did a put away
also emptied the junk drawer and cleaned it.

Back from shopping and having a lunch. I'm exhausted now and may take a nap. I'll see if dh wants to practice first. And I'll go find a drink with caffeine.

The grocery part of the shopping went fine, my stop in at Staples was a bust except I got the rubber bands I've had on my list for over a month. The dollar store was out the two times I looked so I ended up paying $6 for 100 in assorted sizes. The ones I was thrilled to find when I did KonMari 2 years ago were probably from my dad's because they break as soon as you stretch them due to age. I don't need a lot, but I need more than the few I get off vegetables or find on the street near neighbourhood mail boxes. And the cut up rubber gloves (repurposing after they get holes) don't work well all of the time. When they do work (for instance to slow dgs1.5 from getting into drawers by connecting the handles of multiple drawers) they work well. But the rest of the time, I need rubber bands.

Afternoon everyone…

This morning I was up and at my exercise class which is at 8. Came home did my routines and then made myself some late breakfast. Did some laundry and took a shower. After that I needed to do my nails.

Tonight is the Gathering of witches amongst my friends. We meet the third Thursday of the month and in honor of Halloween we’re suppose to dress as witches so I bought a hat and cape and will dress in black. It’s gotten cold here today and night time temps are suppose to be in the high 50’s . Love that

I ended up all over town today!

At the eye doc's office I waited at least 30 min and then his wife called me back there and let me know that he had suddenly became ill and she was taking him to the doctor. We saw him at temple on Yom Kippur and he had fallen and had multiple injuries including a broken rib and broken arm. I had picked out some glasses that I thought might work and she was going to put them on her desk for me when I come back in. (She said she would put back any that she thought wouldn't work, and to schedule an appt on Monday or Friday when she would be there.) So I'm rescheduled for 31 October, a Monday.

Because I was out I went by the big local plant nursery and got pansies and a couple of ornamental kale for the planters by the front porch. Some of the pansies will go in back too. They'll stay nice through the winter and still be around in the spring.

Then I went by dfriends' house to drop off chili for them - she is still in hospital and probably will be another day. He was unexpectedly home because she wanted to nap, so I didn't have to leave it for later on their screened porch. (I had it packed in a small cooler with ice, and with shredded cheddar and a small sour cream.)

Kathryn, I'm having iced coffee right now as a treat.

Home from a whirlwind of stops. We got everything done and arrived home in plenty of time to get DD11 from school. On our way home we stopped by thet funeral home and picked up DMIL death certificates. I found it puzzling and interesting the cause of death (high blood pressure). DMIL blood pressure wasn't high, but she did take a small dose of meds for that. I suppose they don't put something simple on death certificate like "After 91 years of a great life, she decided it was time to die."

I'm going to relax and give my body a break. This treatment does increase my chances of heart attack and/or stroke so I'm going to be a slug for the rest of the day.
