LadyM, I saw a headline somewhere yesterday about diesel gasoline being in short supply throughout USA. I don't know what it's all about, just saw that at the head of an article online somewhere.

Our neighbor is having his BIG heritage oaks (1 on each side of his house, 2 of them) cut up and the company is putting the pieces in a trailer they are pulling to take it all away. Great Big bangs of noise as they dump it into the trailer. I will miss seeing these beautiful trees there. The wind rocked the trees back and forth until the roots came up out of the ground. We have as big a tree in our back yard. We are extremely lucky our tree is saved. A lot of stuff fell out of it, but it is still sturdy in the ground.

DH cut up his brackets for inside the top pieces. What was left we hauled across the street to the big pile we're making over there for pickup. Our piles of stuff continue to grow. They don't care how we pile it up as long as we have it off the street and not on our property (in the county right-of-way) and we must separate the household stuff that got ruined in it's own piles and the vegetation in piles of their own. His old table saw started sparking and smoking and quit working. That's in the garbage can now.

I wonder when they'll come to get all this stuff?

Today has been a whirlwind of activity. Tried to get as much done as I could before we left for the DR appointment for dh. Went to the bank on the way and stopped to fill up the hungry gas tank. So that was done for tomorrow. DGS23 came out to get things closed up once we returned home. Our neighbor arrived about the same time to winterize our RV and take some things down to dh's storage unit. DS-A and DGS10 came out for just a little while. DS-R and DDIL came by for just a few minutes before we left to go out for a bite.

Now on to the Dr appointment -not so good. Dh is still very lightheaded and Dr S was reluctant to let him leave for FL tomorrow. We were both afraid that would happen. Dr said really dh had only been off the metoprolol for 1 dose this morning so it was hard to tell. His BP was only 98/60 and his heartbeat had come up to 54 but not enough. So he has to go back Monday afternoon to check how he is. Dr is bending over backwards trying to get him out of here but also doesn't want to chance it. So it ended up that I'm still flying out tomorrow. Dh won't have it any other way. It is possible that dh could end up with a pacemaker will only know after Monday's check up. If so Dr said he'd get him in ASAP. Can't say enough good things about him. Doesn't want him to end up in the hospital in FL as soon as got down there. I'm going to take dh to DS-A's in the morning to stay there. DS said he'd take dh to the Dr Monday. DDIL-R is coming out to DS-A's to pick me up to take me to the airport. Don't want dh driving. Hoping that tomorrow and Sunday he'll feel much better. Praying. I'm not happy with leaving him but for his mental well being I think I need to do it. DD did figure out dsonil's flight. There was to be a $99 charge for changing and we don't even know yet when dh will be able to leave. So he's just not going to show up tomorrow and dd will book him a flight whenever dh can leave.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
