Wow! It is Wednesday!
I don't know about you, but this week is going by quickly.
At least this week I have a better handle on each day. For the last few weeks, I kept thinking it was a day later in the week than it is.
What is going to Wow you today?
Are you going to Wow someone else?

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
I'm up after long enough in bed but no long stretches of sleep. Basically, I looked at the clock every 90 minutes or less.
Got Wordle today (which is better than yesterday.)
Today and tomorrow are my last two days without dh here. So I need to really move it. Hopefully, taking most of yesterday off will help.
I ended up losing the evening to "Perfect Bid" on Netflix. I found it really interesting.
Goals for the day:
1. Get all the rest of the decorations place (everything is out of their bins except the tree ornament.)
2. Get all the bins downstairs to the locker.
3. Organize paper work.
4. Walk to pharmacy and pick up prescription. I'm not sure why I have it, I might have triggered it accidentally when looking at my account but I have 25 weeks left on my existing batch. Thankfully, expiry date won't be an issue.
5. Bank and Grocery shopping (I don't need much so can carry it home in the backpack.)
6. Phone calls to arrange Lobby Christmas Tree decorating (and possibly permission for a Christmas Party.)
7. Email to residents about date of lobby Christmas Tree decorating (and hopefully Christmas Party.)
8. Phone my contact about the Christmas Eve Service
9. Finish writing my Christmas newsletter contribution and pick some pictures for it.
If I complete all that, WOW, it will be a great day!

Honey I’m home!
After all day traveling we made it home in time for dinner. Went out to get something to eat, came home, took a shower and went to bed.
I have plenty to do today.
Laundry
Emptying suitcases
Grocery run
Phone calls
Plenty OMM at the moment, just going to follow routines and getter done. Slow wins the race.
BBL …Poof

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
Rain is coming down here. We have clouds, fog and rain for close to the next week, and it's been this way since last weekend, maybe? I'm holed up at my desk. No reason to go out.
Sent a text re: trip this weekend, i.e. when are we leaving and other questions. Leaving sometime on Friday but don't know anything else.

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
Good Morning!
RR - Welcome Home!
Harmony -So happy for you to not have tooth pain.
(((LucyLee & DH))) Take care. Having the Flu is no fun especially when you must get some responsibility accomplished.
Yesterday a DFriend announced one of her 1 year olds twins tested positive for Flu A. I was in the nursery with these twins on Sunday morning and I sat shoulder to shoulder with this DFriend on Monday night at a Christmas party. I just checked what the incubation time is after being exposed and it said 1-4 days. I will be monitoring myself for the next couple of days.
Both kids schooling is in progress. I have been picking up an extra kid to take to school. She is an amazing 16 year old that is facing what most would consider a difficult life, however her attitude makes it seem what she is doing is both easy and normal.
Location grouped SHE cards are growing as I get comfortable doing the current ones on a daily basis. I want to add more and that is an incentive to do the current ones each day.
Last night I took the phones away from both kids until they cleaned their bedroom floor. This was a huge incentive for DS14 because he really wanted his phone. However, DD11 didn't really care so she wasn't motivated.
Today we are starting life skill habits with the kids to replace their slobby ways. Their bedrooms are in bad shape (AGAIN). I recently watched DD11 take her coat off and drop it on the floor and then walk off. I didn't say anything because I was a bit shocked. This is how their bedrooms become so messy. They don't have good habits. So we are starting at the beginning and focusing on the basics. DD11 habit to learn is to hang her coat up immediately when she comes home. We discussed which closet (coat closet or her closet) and she will make that decision. DS14 habit to learn is to choose a spot for his hat/sunglasses/keys and always put them in that spot.

I am so sorry I couldn't come back to talk yesterday!
I was thinking of all of you and saying prayers for all!
I pray today brings each one of you the answers you need to help your families and yourselves. I pray for good news and action to make life better and for health as well as happiness. May joy fill your day!

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
I am far behind house wise - cluttered with not putting away as we have lived in the house. (mostly my mess of not finishing the dailies).
My goal today is taking care of physical clutter, mail my mom's cards, wrap presents and see where I stand.
dinner
dishes
duds
declutter your stuff that should normally be put away.
spoke to my mom's doctor about removing her ambien. She has been on it for 40 years and it is messing with her Alzheimers. She doesn't take them until 3 am. which makes her loopy. We have to do it slowly to give her body a chance to adapt.
Actually my brother said go cold Turkey -she didn't have her meds for 3 days bc she over hid them and it wasn't good. if that will be the case then I will have him there during the process. he flies in soon. Mom sleeps so much but doesn't realize it.
timer ready!
Be positive!

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
My big "WOW" today will be completing a load of laundry. I've been busy since I got up (which wasn't until 8:45!) Slept poorly first part of the night but then woke up at 6:15 for potty break. Evidently went back to sleep shortly after and slept another couple of hours. Nice!
Talked w/dh already this morning. Then had to confirm his shipping address with O ptum for his new Eliquis prescription. Just hoping it gets there in time before he runs out of the old script.
DDIL-A picked up his new prescription order for this H Pylori infection yesterday. DS-A is supposed to take it to him this morning. The gastroenterologist wants him to start on it ASAP. Had phone calls back & forth with his cardiologist because of his upcoming Ablation (7 days now! Not that we're counting or anything). He'll have to go for another stool test after he gets back down here.
Can't remember if I wrote yesterday or not but DBIL has been taken off all treatment for cancer. Dr says it'll be 2-4 months. Know dh is chomping at the bit to get back down here. Think I mentioned that dbil totalled his car in their car port last week. So of course he's no longer driving at all. Said his foot slipped off the brake, but had to be more than that to see all the damage done to the car and the car port. DD and I want to go over to see him but haven't with us both being sick all week.
Looking like we're going to have a house full for Christmas. DS-A, DDIL, DGS23 and DGS10 are coming in the 24th. DDIL's Uncle from Palm Beach is going to pick them up at the airport and bring them the 24th. He wants to see them as much as possible while they're here so DD has invited him for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Then DBIL & his DSisil are supposed to be here. Another friend has been invited as well as she's going through a divorce and doesn't want to be home alone all day. So I think that's 12. Will be out of the norm for us. We're hoping to make it a very cheerful Christmas even though I know it will be somewhat bittersweet.

Re: Wow! It is Wednesday!
My wow is/was the amount of fog here. There isn't any wind, so we had a small fire in the fire pit to get rid of some cardboard. I went to Walm art this morning before 10 a.m. I needed dry and canned cat food and dh needed body wash. Glad to be home.
