hello - I am getting lost on the computer so I have to be off for a bit.
thinking of all of you.

thought I would let you know - uncle who had gotten so upset - left me a nice message of apology. I will call him back later. This is a huge thing and I am so happy he is feeling better. We all have days like that. It must have been a very stressful day for him. I am glad that I put the boundary there.
The boundary wasn't for him = it was for me.

So glad the appointment was morning so by evening - maybe early evening - Mr. DeeClutter will be comfortable.

Thanks for the snacks!

Choosing between being a test-kitchen cook this afternoon (of a dish I'll take to family get-together) or a bow-and-ribbon-maker to get all that out of the way.

I can't believe I did that LadyM, I'm thinking Friday because tomorrow we're leaving... I corrected it.

I finally got out of pajamas and into clothes, and ate my brunch. Need to finish a.m. routine, I've been distracted by dh and dd and then dd and I have been deciding on a show for Friday night in NYC. I got the tickets too.

It's raining today so I won't be walking outside. I've managed 250 steps for the first three hours in my sidetracked distracted state. I just found where one can change the hours for the 250 steps tracking and set up notifications too.

Kathryn, the cinnamon rolls are to die for, I'm glad you're partaking!

Kathryn, speaking of wasted $$ I just got tickets for the wrong show and can't return them. I went ahead and got the right tickets so the extras for the same night are a sunk cost. Maybe a reseller on the street? I don't know. I hate to admit to dh and, like the other day, I wonder about my brain getting old. I had several windows open comparing seats and pricing and checking with dd about which show, and I went back to the wrong window. Sad face. I wasn't sure I even wanted to admit it to you guys. (I'm glad that we got tickets to something dd wants to see and hasn't seen already. And I'm glad that we're not just "walking around" as dh suggested. We have other time to do that. And a lot of walking around is going to make my back hurt, although I'm trying to build myself back up.

d twins I pray your d cousin feels better fast! So hard!
I will say my dh does what I call passive aggressive and defensive remarks that had nothing to do with our conversation. It's dh's immediate go to.
sometimes he will talk it out about what's behind his frustration/defensiveness and other times it takes awhile for him to get it.

I am sorry it didn't work! it is a temporary time - and there will be the good time ahead. it's not a pity party! You are just disappointed! It's okay to feel that way. that feeling will pass but it is how you feel.

hi d lady I am glad you were feeling back to your normal selves. yay on your steps!

hi d Kathryn - I love pineapple!
great job on your steps as well
yay on buying used toys - there are so many wonderful toys out there for resale!!

my goodness my focus is not there - I think the light of a thousand fairies are flying around in my brain.

d dogs are sleeping on top of each other - since winter came - they have either laid on top of me (reminds me of the book - 5 dog night by Eileen Christelow) or on each other.

waving hello

Blessed that's a cute mental picture, your DDogs piled up keeping warm.

Sorry for the wasted money happening. Stuff happens to all of us I guess. Otherwise we just sit home and do nothing..

LOL hanging up. I'm ready to go to the dentist in 30 minutes. Must change my top, my water pik broke today. The hose had been getting stiff and today it broke and I got water squirted on me all over. I must look online for a new hose. DH bought me one a few years ago. This one did not last as long as the original. I think I noticed it was not real flexible when we first put it on. Maybe when he got it it was already old? I really like it and it still works fine...so I'll see if I can find another.

I'll have to look at those spreadsheet calendars when I have more time. Looked interesting.

Save me a pastry...for when I'm done at the dentist! Been thinking about them today.

Oh how neat/sweet to come into the waiting room and see everything set out and knowing all my friends here are praying for us in one way or another. DS-R texted just after 10am that they had taken dh back to the cath lab. Then he texted about 12:10 that they had just taken dh back for his procedure. Think I had been holding my breath the whole time. They told DS it'll be 2-3 hours probably for the procedure. Just praying that this all works for him. So won't probably know much of anything much before 4 o'clock. Thank you all for being there.

I ordered a new F itbit last night since mine died and dh had told me to go ahead and get it (a good one he says). Well, the last was good but I think it's probably 5 years old at least. Then dd told me today to cancel the order as she'd already bought one for me for dh to give me for Christmas -however he didn't know it yet. Couldn't cancel as it was already shipped. Just hope I like the one she got. I think she knows I want a small face one and that I need one I can sync with our health card. That would probably be F itbit I hope. I'll see when she gets home what she brings. The one I ordered is supposed to be here tomorrow.

Going in and watch a movie. Not doing much today -barely slept. But on the good side, Dh told me this morning that he slept well. I was a little bit afraid they might not do the procedure as dfriend he's staying with says he's been coughing a lot. I'm quite sure the E liquis is wreaking havoc with his respiratory system -throat included. Dfriend did say that dh was like a kid on Christmas morning and was 'ready to roll'. He's been looking so forward to getting this done and behind home, hoping it's the answer.

(((((Twins))))) You sure do have your plates spinning! Hope the weekend turns out much better than you're expecting.

Blessed good to see your Uncle is being apologetic.

One thing that does concern me is that dh had told dfriend he's anxious to get down here so he can go over to his DB's every day. The only thing is I don't know if he can drive right now. Depends on how he's doing physically. That would mean I'd have to take him every day. Not sure I'm up to that either. This getting is definitely for the birds.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Twins… in it could be worse department:

When Sweetie and I got through the TSA line and got to the checker, she looked at my boarding pass on my phone and said… you can’t use that.

Stopped me in my tracks and I asked why. She said wrong airport. What!!! Sure enough I had booked our first class tickets FROM Ft Myers TO Newark instead of reverse.

Have you ever tried to get OUT of a TSA line? What a mess. We found the airlines customer service line which of course was at the end of the building and I figured we were going to be in a long line and wait. Thankfully there was only one person in front of us.

I explained that my mom had just died and in a moment of confusion had bought the wrong tickets. She was terrific and found us seat together n the business area and credited the difference to my account. Phew!!!

The plane left an hour and a half later than the wrong plane so every thing worked out well.

In it pays to be nice department… when we first entered the TSA line the gal checking the TSA on our boarding passes was teasing me saying she would let me through if I sent her a Cmas present. Told her I would by her anything she wanted. She laughed and let us through.

After getting our tickets fixed I had to go through the TSA line AGAIN. Same woman was there and surprised to see me. She questioned why I was back and after explaining about my mom and what I had done, she opened up the lane line strap and escorted Sweetie and I right up to the TSA checker.

And in the it’s even worse than our problem, a Chinese couple next to us, discover that the documents they were told they would be needing had been expired and they wouldn’t be able to fly to Cancun for their vacation because Mexico wouldn’t accept their papers.

And I see I posted twice earlier! I have finally accomplished a few things, despite my absent minded ways.

I'm going to turn up the heat and wax my jacket this afternoon. I think it will need it for NY, and I haven't been doing it.

Also on my list for today (which I haven't written down, I'm afraid) was writing the checks for bonuses for the two temple employees who have helped out at our cemetery this year during funerals. I checked in with cemetery chair and we'll meet on Monday to give them to them.

It's pouring rain here, I'd like to be one of bw2's dogs curled up together today.

I have five of ten hours so far today.
