I have some errands to do this morning. We are expecting rain and right now the temperature is minus 5 Celcius. Dh has nothing to do and he has offered to drive me around.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
Ugh. Having issues with Fitbit again. Steps disappeared from my phone and I can't log in online. When I'm on I check my steps in the morning to see how many I need for the day to meet the projected goal for the week. I'll workout later so I know I'll probably have enough steps, but still.
I also have body work at 10 and need to get moving! S2s, breakfast and get the dog outside are priorities! I'm not cooking supper tonight because dh is out too.
Didn't get this posted, I'm eating now and have s2s-ed.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
Moving through my day one hour at a time. I am currently focusing on hour #3.
The only things on my calendar today are DS14 8 homeschool assignments and taking/pick up DD11 from public school. It is trash day and that task has already been taken care of.
Today I'm cooking Bacon cheeseburger sliders for the family. I am also cooking egg roll in a bowl for me. I will be making a big amount of this dish and packaging the leftovers into individual portions and freeze for quick easy mini meals.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
sounds delicious d lady!
hi d cathy thank you for starting us.
hi d twins hope you can fix your fit bit!
hi d lady yay on working through your blocks of time.
hi d everyone.
wishing you all a wonderful day.
dh looked great yesterday. he no longer needs a nebulizer. His trac and his feeding tube worries me but not that all the major things are out of the way, this will be easier. he is now walking three times every day!
Now we wait for the biopsy results. being hopeful.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
bw2, so glad your dh is getting stronger. Whatever is coming, developing some strength and health now will benefit him.
Back from body work - I was so sleepy after I got myself an iced coffee, and I've walked ddog another two laps for a total of a mile. The hip that gets achy is achy now - hoping the walk helped it. I went ahead and renewed my car registration - don't have to take it for emissions testing anymore, finally.
Need to finish a.m. routine first. And have enough of a snack that I won't be ravenous or overstuffed when I do workout.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
Hi all. We did tackle something today. We got the porch gutter reattached and secure with the new gutter clips. It was really wobbly, just barely hanging on out there. Some of the screws that were still there needed tightened. And a lot of new clips put on. DH insisted on going up the ladder and doing it, with great difficulty. I stood on other side of the step ladder to steady it and hand up the drill and clips and screws. And worry. But all worked out ok and was not nearly as bad as the other gutter work we'd done.
Worked on my study for this week. I have the commentary done and the first 3 days of lessons completed. So I'm on track for this week. Interesting, I did the commentary last evening before I went to sleep and I fell asleep in record time and slept so good. I think it helps to put our minds at rest at night.
What next...morning routines are done, maybe I'll clean out the car. I did take out a bunch of old papers earlier, I could wipe it out. I really need a new seat cover on the driver's side. We've worn that one out.
Happy to read blessed's news today. Do you have any idea how long before he comes home?

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
After I waited and waited and waited for dh to say "Let's go!" I finally asked if he was coming with me and he asked "Where?" ... so I went by myself.
Now all the banking is done for the month at both banks and I found some powdered dishwasher soap. I also knew what we were low on in the pantry, so I stocked us up on a few things. Came home just in time for dh to tell me he was going to lay down, so I brought all the stuff in by myself and put it all away. Now I am exhausted, hungry and ready for a nap, but the dishwasher needs to be filled and the dish tray emptied and some pots washed. Kitty litters all need to be cleaned as well.

Re: Tackle something this Tuesday before the SuperBowl
(((Blessedw2))) Thanks for the update on your DH.
It has rained all day which makes me happy and sad. I am happy because we need the moisture but sad because I am not spending any time outside in my happy place. I did put a basil clone in a pot of dirt, so I had a little happy time with my hands in dirt. This basil clone is the 3rd generation from the one basil plant I bought last spring. That basil plant grew all spring/summer/fall in the raised bed garden and was about 3'x2' in size, then before the first freeze I broke off a couple branches and put in cup of water to root. Once they rooted, I planted them in dirt and have been harvesting from those 2 plants every day all winter. Those 4-month-old basil plants can't keep up with my usage, so I broke off a couple branches and started the rooting process again.
I almost missed achieving one of the hourly step goals. Thankfully, I noticed with 3 minutes left that I was missing steps, so I walked in the house for a couple minutes. I have to remain aware when I'm cooking because even though I'm on my feet the entire hour my step count is low. Being in the kitchen, driving and sitting in church are the times that I struggle to reach hourly step goal.
