Yes, thinking about blessed and DH.

Yesterday we finally got my bicycle repaired / put back together again. Our bikes are 5-gear cheap ones. Somehow, when we took the back wheel off to put in a new inner tube the chain got all twisted around and wouldn't let it change gears. DH couldn't figure out how to get it straightened out. We stood up the bikes side by side and tried to duplicate. After a couple hour's work we finally got the wheel and chain installed correctly. It's a bit wonky, not wanting to change gears smoothly. We sprayed the gears with W D40 and it's working now. I haven't been on mine probably in a year. DH takes 1 or 2 3-mile rides every day. I was going to start walking instead, and that fizzled out. I need to move more.

I got all my studies done for tomorrow. I have to go a day early to a leaders' meeting because I volunteered to help in the children's classes on Friday.

Went to dentist with DH. Consult and paperwork is  he needs lots done and he's not sure he'll get it all done...I will be trying to convince him to do it little by little. Today he had 2 teeth pulled. Came home with the usual packets of gauze which he just took out. He convinced the dentist to do both today, but one is lower left and other is upper right. So no chewing. I made him two bowls of puddings and he had some. Poor guy is hungry. If this keeps up he'll be hangry for sure. He doesn't miss meals easily, I think he has a fast metabolism.

Oh, about our weather, we were cool, down into the 40's last night but we're back up into mid 70's now. The house isn't totally warmed up, this concrete house holds onto the coolness.

Harmony - maybe puree and emulsify normal food for your DH to drink? I use an immersion blender to turn food into pudding consistency sometimes. It looks horrible but tastes great.

Homeschool is finished. Instead of working DS14 is going with his boss to a doctor appt in the big city. His boss is paying DS14 to be his co-pilot as he drives a one ton dually truck in traffic. DS14 is also to keep his boss talking so he doesn't fall asleep on the hour-long boring drive each way.

I am enjoying the process of developing a price book. I keep getting surprised. Today I looked at the price for 1 lb spaghetti pasta at 6 places. It varied from .87 to $2.17 This is the first item that WMart has beat the price of other stores.

I removed the destroyed rabbit hutch from the garden area. DH saw what I was doing and volunteered to haul it off.

Dog trainer guy has been here and is gone. Hoping the ddog is less freaked out going forward.

I'll need to start our supper earlier if we're going to get to the temple before 7 p.m. He's still planning to go.

I went and dropped off a bunch of stuff at the food bank and the thrift store right next door to it. I also went to Costco and got supper for tonight. Chicken.

That chicken is getting heated up in the oven along with the asparagus that dh wants. I'm also making a box of mashed potatoes along with gravy and green peas. I'm just doing the dark meat and leaving the white meat for sandwiches for tomorrow's lunch.

I went and "stretched out" on the bed for an hour and a half, but I didn't sleep. I read for a bit, dh joined me for a bit and then I read for a bit more. I also watched a large pine tree getting beaten up by the wind. It's howling. No rain, but there are black and grey clouds that block out the sun every few minutes.

I added WIND notations to my planner for the coming appt days. That was a good direction to get me thinking. Tomorrow and Friday, our windspeed will double at the times of my appts, from what it has been. So now I know. Not bad, but different and maybe enough to change clothing choices. Rain, no, not during the days, so still no worries about shoes. It's infinitely easier not to have to change shoes during appt times. I had to do that only once so far.

Twins', tell him go to someone whose background really is in nutrition as opposed to just dietician, which is different. OR to someone who has included real nutrition studies in addition to their existing M.D. specialty. I think I remember that ya'll have the consigliere type of medical team. Someone there is probably able to take the time to see that he's referred correctly. My visit with the dietician in this office last week was nearly useless, yet the next dr I saw (yesterday) actually said to me to visit her (having forgotten I already did) and called her their nutritionist. He really hadn't paid enough attention to his colleagues to know the title and accreditation are not what he thinks, and I'm sure the counseling to his patients is not what he thinks, either.

Thank you for the reminder, Harriet. Just passed your info on to him, and he was aware of differences. Told him I'd prefer we eat more "real" food, even tho it means more cooking.

We are on to go to the temple in less than an hour. I grilled chicken breast inside, and made a green salad. When I came down at 4:45 he had eaten part of a wrap and a keto popsicle. (Ugh, tastes like pretend ice cream. )

So there was no note we were to get wind in our forecast but at 9, we had to run around and shut windows.

Looking at the government records, up until 9 p.m. we had winds barely reaching 20kph. Then it was 50, gusting to 66 (although my weather station showed a gust of 73kph/45mph) and the wind is now down again and nothing over 20kph forecast for overnight. Must have been a front going through. During the high winds they were from the NW but are back to the SW they were for most of our day.

I spent 6 hours at my friends house. I haven't been there for years and years, maybe a decade. We were talking about how we can measure things in decades now. We've know each other for 6 decades.

This evening I got the minutes and some other stuff done from the meeting proof-read (or written for the bit I had to do) and now I have to send that all out in a mass email. Sadly, the email list hasn't been updated since Sunday so I don't have all the addresses. I will use the old list, and then add as I figure out who was missed.

The history booklets are preselling pretty well. I will probably put in an order tomorrow or Friday.

My week isn't getting any less busy. Tomorrow is tooth repair in the morning and banking stuff in the afternoon although I suspect we aren't ready for that. What I heard from the bank rep was different from what I heard from the person who doesn't have a complete bank profile.

Dh added a doctor appointment for him on Friday afternoon so I'll spend the morning with the grands (no school that day) and then come home with the car. I'm not sure if I'll go with him or not, it is to the GP because his toe is weird. We wanted someone to see it and either tell us it is something to do with the anemia or the heart, or something else to look into.

It would be better if our dentist and doctor weren't still out where we used to live since that adds over an hour of driving time to appointments.

Hi everyone! I have not done anything I wanted to do tonight except help DD21 with her chemistry lab. The LAB part was easy for her, I did Excel graphing tutoring + arithmetic checking for almost two hours. It did get finished. At least I know my brain still functions. Dinner was noodle soup. I started a quiche recipe but ran out of time and will finish it tomorrow. I got the pie crust done to the chilling part. I am using leftover turkey in it and maybe potatoes. We had a dusting of snow, but others in metro area had 5 inches and work and schools had a 2 hour weather delay. All that remains for me to do is cat care. My wonderful neighbor took my trash to the curb. The next hardest thing is getting my mail. Good night everyone!

Did you notice that DD20 is now DD21? It's her birthday. I know she was not out getting wasted because she was doing her chemistry.
