Bread baking day turned out great in my new pan! *

We had a bit of rain snowed in the mtns. in the distance saw that on our walk after lunch.

My sister called so that slowed me down a lot and stressed me out because instead of acting on my to-long to-do list, I was just talking about everything that is coming up (known and unknown) and having to justify agreeing to take dgs in the first place (that was last October, over 6 weeks before we knew dh's heart repair needed redoing.)

Sigh...

So I'm really stressed out at the moment.

Anyway, the first macro is done and my minimal work for a Monday is done. Plus I opened the Amazon order and discovered I was shipped 10 3M 1870 masks, loosely decanted into a bag and incorrectly labeled, instead of 20 3M 9205 masks in a box with an expiry date. So the return has been triggered and the goods repackaged and ready to put in the mail. Bonus, this isn't a federal holiday so the post office should be open.

Next up, the bedroom wing to be dusted and vacuumed. The first load of laundry just finished in the dryer and the second is ready to put into the dryer.

Cooling down…

Went to HD and bought 8 bags of potting soil. Had a long wait at the checkout due to a problem with the people in front of us. When I got ready to pay, the gal in front of us said … she’s my aunt, so give her my military discount. It’s 10%. I thanked her and her husband for his service. Nice to know there are still good people in this world.

Loaded the car and came home and unloaded all the bags. Sweetie used our dolly to bring the soil to the back of our house. My new barrels needed to have holds put in them so Sweetie got his drill out and did that for me. Placed barrels where I needed them and then filled each one of them with 2 bags of soil.

It’s hot out there! 90* and very humid, plus I was in direct sun. After I finished filling all the barrels, I cleaned up the yard, put all my tools away and came inside. Took time to plan out which flower seeds will go in which barrels. Once I plant…either this evening or early tomorrow morning… I will make a diagram for each barrel to remind me what I’ve planted. I have to keep in mind the maximum size of each sunnie when I plant. I always plant more than needed because not every one shows up.

LadyM… how many treatments more do you have to go, and can you notice the benefit of them.

Blessed…hang tight. My guess is like my sunnies, your husband is going to grow strong over time with all your care. Just make sure you take care of yourself so you don’t burn out. I remember the two months I stayed with my mom to help out. I took care of everything with no help and it was exhausting!

I am back home from the city and ready to continue with my day. I bought 20 lbs of hamburger meat that I need to repackage into 1 lbs packages.and put into the freezer.

LadyM… how many treatments more do you have to go, and can you notice the benefit of them.

Only 2 more monthly treatments then I will be done with Evenity. I haven't noticed any benefit or difference taking the treatment. The RN's at the infusion therapy place tell me after these 12 monthly treatments are over then patients are switched to a different drug that is administered twice a year. I am hopeful my next bone density test will show an improvement or at the very least my bone density not continuing to get worse. 12 treatments of Evenity cost $66,000 so at that price it seems like it should result in an improvement. Thankfully, the insurance has paid every bit of it.

The fence contractor wants a big tree limb cut down before he continues. I don't want DH up on the ladder, so I've called DS14 about doing it when he gets home from work. This might be too big of a job for DS14, if so then I have another person in mind to do it.

LadyM, were your bones registering that they were soft before the treatment began? I hope this works for you.

I had such high hopes for today. Things turned out very differently. I began (guess it was a macro chore) or tidying up my desk. Morphed into putting all the reports, receipts etc. into our medical binders where I keep track of things for both of us. I also have a file I use to document medical expenses. I type that up as I go along into an excel file and the CPA gets that even though I haven't been able to itemize for taxes in many years.

Then DH told me it was time to pay one of our statements and I went down a huge rabbit hole straightening all that out. The company ordered stuff wrong and wouldn't take them back... DH managed to get some of the one invoice stuff sold to another man... and I had to figure out what we will eventually charge the customer. I got so stressed out because DH was confused and he no longer communicates stuff well. I was trying to add stuff and he watched me and wanted to know why I started adding in the right column first. Yes, that's the way it's done, with the cents first. We figured out he can no longer do math. He got so frustrated with it all he left the house for a bit.

Figured out that when we're adding things on the calculator we always input numbers with the left column first, but adding or subtracting by hand we start with the cents, the right column. I guess that's why he got confused. He rarely adds or subtracts without his calculator. It didn't help that he called the company and got the balance due figure...which wasn't correct and I've had to send a copy of the check front and back which evidently they haven't credited to our account. He gets stressed over the littlest things now and if he gets upset he usually gets me upset and then I can't figure stuff out.

Ended up making a very short spreadsheet to document what's going on. If he would just quit taking these jobs.

And now it's too late to start the dinner I was planning on, and I'm hungry.

Just talked to someone with a full basement in that it is full of stuff.
A shelf helped with organizing some items.
Kids brought totes for some other items.
Good for team work.
Seasonal decor items can be an issue, labeling is another.

So glad I have been working on mine this winter.
Now I have to figure out how to get the curtain up in the paint room as I have a temp. shelf in front of it.
So I am 99% sure I am going to have to unload it and move that to put said curtain up,
when I get it or make it just saying.

Watched a yt vid. of budwiser horse performance accident in an arena.
Picked up the back yard in the sunshine that is out now.

Harmony…are you sure your husband and mine are related

At least Sweetie voluntarily asks for help sometimes and isn’t even remotely employed. However he’s starting to get grumpy on me and refuses to tell me what’s bothering him. I just take it with a grain of salt. But I refuse to let him get away with being rude to me and have no problems calling him on it.
This change in attitude, though I know the cause is what I hate the most.

I am hot, sweaty and dirty and in need of a shower. I spent over an hour once it sort of cooled down pulling weeds and then planting my seeds. Been a busy day, and I’ve enjoyed it.

Tomorrow I have my DAR meeting and then Wednesday I have to take my car to be registered. Must check my calendar to see if I have anything else for the week.

d rose - hoping the grumpy feeling for him goes away soon-I believe you mentioned that his memory sometimes is an issue. I have known this with beloved ones. thinking of both of you!!1

quick hi.

I suddenly realize that the things I had planned for just went out the window!

The good - dh's blood pressure was good at drs. He had a small panic attack but still went to the dr. Another good is that his skin is healing. His bolus feeding, the way we have been doing it, has paid off - he had dropped to 128 lbs in the hospital (when he had cancer 12 years ago he was 118) and now is 141.3 lbs - which is better.
I also was able to stop the "I am not showing or telling the dr......" I convinced him that we want to keep him home, he has to show his skin, his feeding tube etc.
The dr. wouldn't give him a blood test - I wish they had bc the last time at the hospital is sodium was low and his electrolytes would do a roller coaster ride. The hospital had said that he needed the blood tests when he went to his pcp to see how is sodium and electrolytes were.

fed him his 4 pm feeding.

I am tired but I need to do some put away. dogs pulled down dd younger's green juice and it is now decorating my kitchen cabinets and basement door.

thank you for reminding me to take care of me - I remember my uncle took so much out me, physically. it was not good for my body and brain.
