I've done nothing but sit in a chair and read and look at the mess around me. I think they will be done tomorrow, but will come back on Monday to do the guest bedroom upstairs if we want. So dcleaning lady will certainly be welcomed in on Friday!
I think I'm going to work for 45 minutes on the front of the house: DR, foyer and stairwell. OTOH, I should walk the dog again first. (she is looking at me expectantly, although she did have a run with the French bulldog earlier too.) That's it. I'll walk her then try for 45 min. I love it that dh was out last night and tonight, so he isn't available to help with this.
Back from walk with ddog. I have nearly 10K steps today, had 10K yesterday and 12K the day before. No wonder I'm tired!

Now I'm just getting downright angry. I realized that instead of putting things back together, I need to clear some things in our bedroom to facilitate painting tomorrow. And I hate to just put things back where the live w/o dusting, but at this point I'm still moving things into the garage. I need dh here and working with me this weekend. This is just unfair for him to pooh-pooh my concerns because he believes they will "move and put everything back." Furniture maybe, but there's a whole lot more than that here.
And I can just see it playing out how hard dh works so I can "sit on my bottom all day."
I may need to move over to members only.
Later, but leaving it here instead of moving. I have the primary BR and bath ready to paint tomorrow. Some of the heavier things they (or dh, should he be willing) will need to move. But it's neatened up. Small things removed to garage. (BTW, no room to park another car for now.)

Twins I just posted there about how my evening went thanks to dh completely losing it and all I was doing was trying to help him fill out a form.
Smoke and mirrors for a lot of us here as we paddle furiously under the water to keep afloat, and others in our lives think we've got it under control, but WE (the wives) are paddling furiously... sigh. I want to stop paddling sometimes.

Dh has a different cough tonight, not the same as the fluid on the lung. I checked with him. Post nasal drip. Dang, that's the source of my cough and the worst symptom of my case of Covid. He'll test in the morning.
Tomorrow is my last day in isolation, after that, theoretically, I could be around people unmasked (but just intended to be around dh unmasked, and still mask when I leave home.) Also I could enter the hospital with him. Now, I'm not sure what will happen if he tests positive.
I had two walks outside, the first on my own in the morning (only because dh had already done his on the treadmill before I got dressed) and then with dh in the afternoon. I drove to the other end of the neighbourhood so he could see the progress on some of the construction sites he usually monitors on his walk.
We got in an hour before the storm hit here. It will be very cold tomorrow so I will be the only one walking outside. But I'll have to eat in my cell since the balcony will be too cold to eat on.
Tomorrow morning is blood draw.
Dinner tonight was soup from a neighbour because dh can't eat anything that isn't moist/wet. And he's lost his sweet receptors, I'm hoping due to the meds. I made up biscuits to go with it and added cheese to some and made cinnamon swirls with some of the dough and enjoyed them all. Dh dunked his in the broth to moisten it.
Twins, did the painters paint the insides of your closets too? That would be so much work to empty all of them too, especially the bedroom one. Moving all the stuff is exactly why I didn't move back into the green room after I'd moved into the pink room temporarily. I do like it over there anyway, and didn't want to get all re-organized again. I can't imagine all the work you're doing. I always thought painters moved the bigger pieces of furniture but not all the things on top etc.
Smoke and Mirrors. Yeah. One DD is like the duck but she never seems frazzled about any of the work. Other DD never seems to get much of it done! Mine all looks ok on the surface but I don't seem to get much cleaning done for some reason.
It was non-stop all day today. Back and forth, back and forth. At least DH must be feeling somewhat better because he came out to the kitchen twice. And he stayed in bed all afternoon and all evening. I think the icing and the pain reliever is helping to ease the pain. Oops, I just found him back in his chair. I'm hoping he doesn't need me a lot tonight so I can sleep.
My thoughts are on blessed, hoping things are going ok at her house. And hope Ken's test in the morning turns out negative.
